Here is a close up of the bear and quilt. Really wish I knew how to use MMF, would have been so much easier.

This cake is for a 1st birthday. The bear cake on top is a smash cake & the animals are all MMF. The cake was inspired by the invitation, and the animals from my sculpey clay book & my son's Little People animals. :o)

I used the teddy bear cake out of Collette Peters book - this was ALOT of piping for the hair. I now have a tip that does three of these at a time - so that would make it much faster. The ears are Oreo cookies frosted & shoved into the head. There is a foamboard support under the arms...

This was DD's 3rd bday cake. She wanted a pink cake with sprinkles. For ease of serving LOTS of 3yo I also did cupcakes. Cake cake with pink BC. Teddy bears are fondant (I made these because the party was a build your own teddy bear party).

Everything was edible. I think it came out pretty good. But my camera took a horrible picture.

I did this cake one day after I did a very similar cake for a teddy bear baby shower cake. The only difference is this one was covered in buttercream instead of fondant. I tired to make them different, but the request was almost identical in terms of theme and color.

I did these for my son's real 5th bday. I had already made the jungle cake for his party, so this was for his actual bday. He wanted teddy bears, which is also his nickname. :)

This cake was inspired by the many others on CC like it. I have wanted to do one ever since I saw them but didn't have a reason to. Recently has a gentleman at work who was celebrating his 15th wedding anniversary and wanted something "cute" for his wife. I thought this fit the bill perfectly. Thanks for looking! and Thanks to all you CCers for your inspiration!

I made this cake for my sons first birthday - it was a teddy bear party. The cake is chocolate mud with buttercream icing and wafers around the edge. I used the stand up bear pan and the 233 fur tip. It was a labour of love.

This is a Wilton design. It was for a baby shower for 2 ladies - one was having a girl and the other a boy so I thought this would be nice for both. I didn't have the bear pan it called for but I had the 3-D Winnie the Pooh so I just carved him up a bit to make him look more teddy bear than Winnieish. The blocks are made from gumpaste and fondant. Loved making this cake but very time consuming!
