This is a homemade chocolate cake with buttercream frosting. I used the small teddybear pan to make the two bears and put them in diapers, and made it look like the writing was done with a small baby bottle filled with frosting. This is what happens when someone tells you to make them a baby shower cake and to do whatever you want.

This was my first attempt at fondant figurines. This was an idea from someone else on this site so I cannot take the credit for the idea, thank you! This was for a friend's baby shower and she loved giraffes. White cake with buttercream frosting.

This was my daughter's 4th birthday cake. We had her party at Build-A-Bear. WASC on the top & chocolate on the bottom. I got the idea from "FATANDHAPPY"'s darling teddy bear cake! Bears are made from MMF.

for a birthday party at Build-a-Bear. I couldn't find cello bags big
enough for these so I had to use ziplock baggies with the tops cut off!

I have interpreted this Lindy Smith design many times although the baby is my own modelling. I always add a teddy bear or some other little item to make it a little different each time.

vanilla cake with raspberry filling and bc icing. Stars and bear are fondant. Not very happy about the icing (not very smooth)- but I can't really complain- it still looks cute!

I make my grandparent's their birthday cakes every year. My Grandpa is an avid golfer so I decided to do that theme this time. The cake is vanilla with buttercream filling and icing. Grandpa likes plain cakes. I found the design on the Wilton website. The golf ball is white chocolate. Thanks for looking!

Stand up teddy bear on top of 10" cake. She wanted a party hat and blower. I made the hat out of fondant, but it broke at the last second. The paper hat i used looks more like a dunce hat than a party hat...oh well, Lu Lu liked it.

My first cake from second week of class. This is my first time with a
character cake pan. Cake is WASC and icing is class icing. Had to finish at home and have a few gaps. It turned out cute and I am satisfied.
Can't wait until next week.

Cake made for two sisters - 1 having a girl, 1 having a boy. Cake is chocolate buttercream and items on top are fondant. Strawberries around the side was a request from the friend who was throwing the baby shower. I didn't care for it much.

First attempt at modelling paste...couldn't get black colour so i just coloured it in with black marker. Good learning experience - had some probs with cracking and I would squish his head on a bit more next time.

I made this for a 2 year old's birthday.
I followed the instructions that came with the pan. I couldn't find pound cake mix in the grocery store..so I made it from scratch and added a cake mix to that and it turned out great.
The rest is buttercream icing.
