6 dozen cupcakes for teacher appreciation luncheon - banana with caramel BC, yellow with bavarian cream and chocolate-almond BC, and white with strawberry filling and almond BC. School colors are red and black, so I just incorporated that with the flowers instead of making people eat red and black icing! Cupcakes all had a variety of "teacher words" (hope, dream, teach, inspire, crayons, paper, books, just to name a few), and some just said "Thank You".

6" and 9" iced in BC. Candy star sprinkles, gumpaste / fondant bow and crayons. Names piped with black royal icing. This is a repeat of a cake I did last year, but I think this one turned out lots better.

I made 2 apple bundt cakes and used crusting cream cheese frosting - My first time with the viva method ( I need to practice) - The teachers loved it - my only regret was I had to repair the leaves (made from candy melts ) on site and the only green I had with me was the grass icing I had used - oh well it was still a hit - my daughter (8) did the bookworm faces

For a preschool Teacher's Appreciation luncheon. The flowers and dragonflies are gumpaste, and the rest of the deco's are MMF, and all have a good coating of Super Pearl dust. I just loved making this cake, including the challenge of achieving a symmetrical carved shape, yikes! Fudge brownie cake torted w/ IMBC+ganache+raspberry puree filling (I went a little crazy!) Iced in IMBC and then covered in MMF. This is my take on a cake designed by CakesbyLJ; I hope I did the original justice!
