Wasc cake with cookies n cream filling. My first stacked cake! It was going to be a three layer but had issues with middle cake so made it a 2 layer. Also my first time making a book. All buttercream with mmf accents. Used a chalkboard (new) covered for the cake board.

This is a flower basket cake wich i have made for my son's teacher. Just a simple cake to say thanks for what you have done for my son this past year. The basket is a round cake covered with sugarpaste and with many handmade sugarpaste flowers in various colours. The filling ? Straciatella mouse ! Very yummie

My first ccc. Thank you KimAZ and all the other great examples on here. Hers turned out much better but I had fun making it. Cherry chocolate filled cupcakes.

I made this for my mother-in-law. Today is her last day of teaching so we are getting together to have a little party for her. Probably can't tell very well...but I tried to make the pencil so it looked like it had been chewed on. The eraser, etc. are made out of fondant. Rest is iced in buttercream.

I made this cake for my daughter's teacher who's leaving the school. I used aine2's tutorial (she rocks!!) the figurine is ok for the first one but I need lots of practice! It's all buttercream except the figurine which is gumpaste. The poor thing has huge feet and her head looks like she was hit from behind with a 2X4! oh well... : )

Chocolate cake covered with MMF. Got the idea for this cake from the CC galleries.....can't remember exactly who did the original, but thanks for the inspiration!

Apple has syrofoam bottom with cake board above it holding the cake. The whole thing is iced in white buttercream with red airbrushing. Inside is white cake with chocolate seeds!

This is a close up of my dad's retirement cake topper. The figure represents my dad (and there is a true resemblence), the books are things he plans on doing on his retirement and the waste basket is full of papers related to his work. All fondant (and a little cardboard for the table and chair as it was too humid that day and the fondant never was hard enough).

Computer, Desk and Chair is cake. Everything, but the paper (edible Paper, normaly used to make cookies), is Fondant. I loved the way this cake turned out. This cake took me two days to make all the details. Inspired from Carol Deacon.

Retirement party cake for a music teacher. Piano legs, benches, music stand & piano prop are made of wood. Figures, piano body & lid, sheet music, bench pillow & flooring are all made from cake & fondant icing.

Volunteered to make a cake for my daughters Montessori Preschool Graduation. After I jumped at the chance to make the cake she told me there would be 140 people there.....YIKES. Stole the idea off CS. Thank you all for your wonderful photos as inspiration. Top layer was raspberry with white mmf, middle was white cake with chocolate mmf (melted in the heat - half the decorations fell right off with the icing) Bottom was Lemon with white mmf. didn't turn out great...wanted to crawl under the table.

This was for a teacher retirement party. 12x18 covered in buttercream. Chalkboard & chalk made from fondant. The verse is done with an edible image.

This was for my DD's 6th grade teacher who is currently battling cancer. 9/8/6 layers w/MMF & a little BC. I have just started to learn to decorate since June, so I have a long way to go and ALOT to learn! Yes, I am addicted to this site already, you guys are sooooo talented!!!

Made this one for my daughter's class teacher grade 1/2 composite class.. Adapted from katharry's work, hers is perfect. 22cm sq choc cake with ganache filling, covered with MMF mix. The green/yellow(=gold) colours reflecting the school's colouring. TFL.

Buttercream frosted cake and cupcakes with fondant decorations. This was made for my daughter's kindergarten teacher. Each child in the class is represented on a cupcake. The kids went wild over seeing their names and faces on the cupcakes.

This is for my mom. She is a former teacher and currently works at a teacher supply store and also tutors children. This was a rushed cake, but I think it came out pretty good.
