Tangled Tower Cake. A boat with Rapunzel and Eugene were added on site after picture was already taken. I learned a lot on this cake-especially what to do to prevent an eventual leaning tower! Hey, the Pisa leans, so I figured it was ok!

This crazy cake was for my youngest daughter's 8th birthday... I asked her one day, what kind of cake she wanted and of course after watching Tangled, she wanted the tower!! We had a luau/pool party so I decided to throw in the whole beach theme as well, we have "Flynn Surfer" on his board, Molly the surfing lizard (instead of Pascal, lol) and of course, tiki hut, mask, palm trees and Rapunzel with tonnes of hair! What a project this was!

Made the Rapunzel tower for my daughters 4th birthday. Tower is made from styrofoam, RKT, modeling chocolate, and fondant. Lots and lots of work went into this cake and I'm pretty satisfied with how it turned out. She loved it! TFL

Tower was made of Rice Krispies, Maximus was made of fondant/gumpaste mixture. I used premade Wilton sparkle blue gel for the river. I also used an ice cream cone for the roof of the tower and the tree in the corner. Customer had a Repunzel figurine that she put on the blank green area of the cake.

Fbct of the princess from Tangled.
It cracked when I transferred onto the cake, other than that I'm pretty pleased.
This super hot day is causing it to sweat profusely....a sweaty princess, hmmm.

My first Tangled cake. Alot of thought had to go into the construction of this cake because it was going to be assembled prior to transport. I'm happy to say it made it in one piece!

This is Rapunzel's tower from the movie Tangled. It is several layers of strawberry cake covered in fondant. Some accents, including Pascal, are gum paste, most are fondant. Total height is only about 13", so it is surprisingly stable. I am used to trying to get fondant smooth, it really went against my nature to try to rough it up and crack it, but I think it makes for a more realistic tower look. :)

this was my first Frozen Buttercream Transfer attempt. Not as polished as it could be but this also had something to do with my son dragging half the cake after the table after it was finished. I had to re-do a lot.

I'm new here, and this is the first cake I've been asked to make for money. I've learned a lot from browsing this site, so I thought I would join and say Hello, from England :)

I made this cake for a friends little girl who loves the movie "Tangled". Cake is vanilla with bc icing. I printed off an edible image of Rapunzels tower for the background and made Rapunzel and Pascal, the Chameleon, from fondant and her hair is modeling chocolate. What a fun cake to make. :)

A chocolate cake w/ oreo filling. The tower is a paper towel roll, rice krispie treats and fondant. The real challenge with this cake was the transporting and the hair!

I made this cake for my daughter's 5th birthday party. All I wanted to do was make a nice normal birthday cake but she was determined that she wanted Rapunzel's tower from the film Tangled. So after looking on the web for ideas (including this website) i ended up doing this cake, which turned out to be much bigger than i imagined, but also more beautiful. It took one week to finish it (as i could only do it whilst my daughter was at school as you can imagine). I started by doing the flowers one by one (over 200 of them) and the tower was made with rice krispies and marshmallows. The cake was made as a madeira cake with buttercream coloured in yellow and purple (the Tangled colours). I'll upload more photos later, this photo was taken at the party. Thank you so much for taking a look and if i can help in anything, do no hesitate in contacting me. Lots of love, Paola.

Disney's Tangled tower cake made for my niece at her request. Tower is made of RKT and is cover in fondant with Royal icing decorations. Cake is 11x15 with a 8" round hill for the tower to rest on. Mounted a dowel in the base and up through the center of the tower for support since this cake had to travel. She loved it and it was a lot of fun to make!
