Bottom tier and house are strawberry with vanilla filling. Second tier is chocolate cake with banana buttercream filling. MM fondant. Tower made of rice crispy treats, royal and fondant. All edible except for roof and base of house. This was a labor of love but I think it turned out pretty good. :)

I made this cake for my daughter's 4th Birthday. Everything is covered in fondant, but the only parts that are edible are the 10" round just below the roof (cake) and the ground around the base (cereal treats). I wish I had had a few more hours to put some more finishing touches on it but it turned out pretty awesome!

This was a last mintue switch of themes from Dora to Rapuzel. One cake was already baked so I came up with the plan to put the 6" on bottom and 8" on top. I am happy with how it turned out. Roof is rice crispie treat and characters are gumpaste.

Thank you to CakeMadam! I was looking at Tangled cakes for inspiration and a bit of direction. She saw the cake and wanted that one and only that one. I think it came out pretty good. This cake marks the 1 year since I've been doing cakes...self taught. TFL and thank you cakemadam.

I actually made this tangled cake for a fundraiser auction... The bottom layer is chocolate fudge cake, the tower is made of cereal treats, the top is made of chocolate fudge and vanilla cream cake layers, the roof is cereal treats. I used buttercream frosting with modeling chocolate for the detailing (I love that stuff)

I did this cake for my neighbor's little girl. The tower was not very stable... The base of the tower was made of cake filled ice cream cones, the "house" part was styrofoam, and the roof was an ice cream cone. The trees are ice cream cones with pull stars. The rocks are MMF & candy. The hills were done with cake pop mix, and pressed together on a sheet cake.

Well this is the biggest cake I have done and my first time using RKT. The base is a 10" round vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream and covered in fondant. The tower and tree trunks are made from RKT covered in fondant. The tops of the trees and the tower roof are made from vanilla cupcakes covered in fondant. 'Grass' is piped royal icing and the hair is fondant mixed with flower paste to make it a little firmer as my first lot of hair snapped off due to the weight.
