10" and 6" stacked cakes in BC with MMF accents. MAde to match party supplies. Not happy with the butterflies, but oh well the little girl was thrilled and Mommy was so pleased. I found the unicorn on another site, but can't remember where! So, if you are out there: Thank-you!! Even artistically challenged me could do it!!

This was a castle cake with a deep plum accent. She wanted it more realistic than fairy-tale pinks and pastels. The stones were marbelized with shades of grey.

This cake was a series of rounds put together. The cake was iced in buttercream and then the texture was added with a damp sponge. The couple didn't want a traditionally decorated cake with dots, dropstrings, or anything fru-fruie. But they didn't want it smooth either. They decided on this look. Not my favorite, but I don't do the cakes to fit my tastes, I do them for the couple.

This is my Cinderella Ballroom cake. All creations are edible except the characters. Decorations were a combo of gum paste and fondant. You can't see in this picture; however, the mice are inside the clock.

This was a cake I made for a duel birthday party for my neices. One neice loves Tinker Belle and was turning 3, the other niece loved Cinderella and was turning 5. So I created a Fairytale book. The right page was Cinderella with the page number indicateing the birthday age(5), and the left page Tinker Belle with the page number indicating the birthday age of the other niece(3). The cake is fondant covered chocolate cake with whoopee pie filling.

I usually try to make all my cakes 100% edible, but I had to make the tower bottoms out of cardboard papertowel tubes covered in tin foil and then coated with buttercream. The tops are sugar cones coated with buttercream and dusted with edible glitter. Everything else is vanilla buttercream.

this is my first attempt at a gumpaste tiara. I used the template from CC. It broke/stuck to the wax paper on the one side balanced by cutting the curl off the other side. This is going to go on top of DD cake.
