The lady that ordered this cake daughter asked her father who was turning 30 what he wanted on his cake. She asked him "Daddy, do you want princesses on your birthday cake?" to which he answered "no, I think I might get batman". His wife heard the conversation and that is why he got batman. I thought the little girl's idea was cute!!

This is a cake I did for a friend's son. He picked the superman figure out and wanted him to be tearing through the cake. We decided to have Superman breaking through the phone booth.

I made this for my 3 year old's birthday party. Supergirl was the party theme. 2 chocolate, 1 golden and 1 strawberry cakes covered in buttercream frosting and fondant. "S" shields, roses, happy birthday plaque and hearts made of gumpaste are decorated with royal icing, attached with royal icing. Wilton's lavender Color mist used on portions of the small "S" shields. This is my first attempt at fondant and my first picture entry onto this site.

12 x 18 strawberry sheet cake with cream cheese icing. I really did not think the frozen transfer would work with cream cheese icing after reading comments on CC but I thought I'd at least give it a try. I am so glad I did. I used "edencakes" crusting cream cheese icing in the CC recipes. I added about 2 T. powdered sugar per 1/2 cup of icing to stiffen it for the colors I used in the transfer and borders.

I made this cake for a little boy who just couldn't make his mind up so we ended up with a Spiderman, Power Ranger, Batman Cake. This is a 13 x9 cake so I didn't have a lot of room for the bday msg so again I pulled out my scrapbook supplies and created the comic book like msg and attached them to lollipop sticks.

HA! HA! HA! This is my "Man-Faced" Wonder Woman cake!
Cake is obviously from an old character pan, but it was missing the part for the face, so
I kind of had to free-hand it. She looks a little Tranny-ish, but oh well...everyone liked her.

Ok...I don't know exactly who did this cake before me but I know it must have been someone at CC...thank you. This was a 12" square I believe that I just carved from a template I created. It was tricky but worth it. It is a buttercream background with fondant accents.

This is my first use of the Sugar Veil product. The web was pretty easy to make. My suggestion is to be consistently large with the striping. Sour cream vanilla confetti cake filled with strawberry/buttercream filling. BC icing on 10' and 4", Buildings are hershey bars. Sorry for the spike up his back, but the client provided a spiderman with no "backbone" (no pun intended). This was fun to do!
