I took 1st place in the show cake division with this cake at the 2011 Austin cake show.
Its 160 servings of cake. The Figure is Modeling chocolate, the chains are piped Royal icing. The Skulls are gumpaste, and the cake is textured with royal. I enjoyed trying new things on this cake.

I made this cake for my best friend yesterday. We celebrated her birthday. The cake is coconut cake with pineapple filling covered in buttercream and then marshmallow fondant. I made the breast out of these tiny bowls I have and I used the cake ball method. I love this cake and I had fun making it not one time did i stress out or cry...lol TFL

Here is my take on the super hero cakes. So many out there for inspiration so don't know who to credit. This was a very last minute cake, so not as clean as I would like. Use star cut-outs for the borders. White chocolate cake 6", 8" & 10" covered in fondant.

Our oldest is a total super hero fanatic! For his 6th birthday I took his favorite show and did the best I could to represent them in cake. The small cake has the logo to the "Squad" and is in Iron Man colors. Then we have Wolverine, Hulk, Caption America, and Spider Man.
