Teal and white coloured suitcases to match the bridesmaids dresses with small confetti in silver snd teal. Comical purchased bridal couple on top supplied by the bride. This cake was the brides own idea having seen many similar cakes. We got our heads together and I think this is a stunning result.

This was a retirement cake for a woman who will be traveling to visit grandchildren in her retirement and she loves to scrapbook. Definitely the heaviest cake I ever made, I swear it was over 100 lbs! Edible images on the scrapbook page.

Customer asked me to copy a pic found on the net. But they wanted it pink to make it girly. Buttercream with Fondant accents, handpainted logos. Forgot to take pic of finished piece with handle, but you can see the gumpaste tag in background.

This cake did not turn out like I wanted at all...have you ever had one of those cakes where your children just won't stay out of your hair until you are so frustrated you can hardly work? That was this cake. It was for a lady in DH's office who was moving. Chocolate cake with chocolate filling and chocolate mmf. I did really like how the tag turned out, though. TFL

Fondant cake. Leather accents. Buckles, hinges, etc. all made by hand. My oldest daughter made the front clasps. The stickers are all made from edible ink/paper. This cake was a "going away" cake for a friend moving from Florida to Alabama. My youngest made a sticker that said "Jaden World" like Disney World using her name. It was really cute!

Leaving Cake for a friend who is going to live on the other side of Australia but is going travelling first. Chocolate shoes/thongs/flipflops added as she loves chocolate too. Modelled on a bag I saw on flickr! What did I learn? Don't touch the cake after playing with chocolate fondant will leave marks. Don't do the zipper free hand it will come out crooked! :D
