This is part of a wedding cake I'm working on, but I thought it would look nice with the roses also, so here it is. I made the roses and leaves of modeling chocolate and brushed them with luster dust. The cake is a 6" chocolate cake with the chocolate version of my cream cheese fondant. Here's hoping the rest of the cake looks as nice! :D

Double layer 8" chocolate cake with scratch made cream filling. The entire cake and light blue accents were done in tinted buttercream frosting, and the dark blue was done in sparkly gel icing.

This was a fun wedding! The groom really wanted individual cakes for each guest. However, it was just too costly. He also really wanted a "sparkly" cake so I sprinkled as much edible glitter on top as possible, and the two mini-cakes were a surprise to him from the bride. All of the cakes were finished with IMBC and edged with navy blue fondant ribbon. The mini-cakes have buttercream flowers, and the main cake has fresh. Feel free to critique--I am CSM. TFL!!!

I made this for my cousin's 3rd birthday. She's Abby Cadabby obsessed. It's a 6" and 9" buttercream with fondant accents. I made the topper from fondant also. Man it took a long time! She's holding a pumpkin because Abby hasn't perfected her magic yet and she turns everything into pumpkins. Even the present she brought for Riley. ;-) I got the idea for the fondant "lacing" from a super cute cake by _ChristyB_ . TFL :)

Nerve-wracking cake? Oh YES! This baby stood an enormous 43" tall! I'm 6 feet tall and I had to strain myself to get the top tier on all the way up there. The bride's stipulations were that it be sparkly and would have "bling" to it when the lights were low and the candles were lit around it. When I researched the crystal ribbon, I couldn't find anything remotely similar for a reasonable price online. Most out there were $30-$90 per yard....and I needed 6 yards of it! Yikes. Went to my local fabric store and found this clear beaded one (intended for curtains or pillows or something?) for a much more reasonable price. I think it worked pretty well. Found some deep purple sequined ribbon for around each tier too, which matched her colours. She provided the excellent deep purple/green monogram topper from Toppers With Glitz. Cakes were 6"/8"/10"/12" in Tahitian Vanilla and Red Velvet alternating tiers.

Top and bottom tiers are white chocolate cake with hazelnut BC filling, the two middle tiers are red velvet cake white chocolate cream cheese filling. All covered in fondant with RI piped dots. The whole cake was dusted with pearl dust and disco dust mixed (hard to see the sparkle in the photo), and some of the dots were randomly painted with silver/vodka mix to add to the 'bling' effect. Real flowers provided by the florist.

Both teirs were rolled in sparkling sugar while they were still cold & easy to handle with bare hands then I added the pink scrolls and the #16- I meant to make it a full 3 teirs, an 8, 6 & 4 but it felt a bit unstable so I set some extra cupcakes on top instead & surrounded the 4 in teir with the rest of the cupcakes....the birthday girl LOVED it!

This is the first wedding cake that my husband and I ever made. We made it for a dear friend's wedding as a wedding gift. The cake is chocolate WASC filled with cholocate ganache and iced with chocolate buttercream and then covered with chocolate fondant. The ribbon accents are made from fondant. Before they were shaped, we stenciled a floral pattern on them using edible gold sparkle dust.

This was a cake for a the daughter of a lady I work with. I was excited to make this, it was the first butterfly I have ever made. It was about the size of a half sheet covered with mmf and sprayed with the pearlized airspray.

This cake was for my friends wedding. White fondant covered with pearl iridscent spray. The black is satin ribbon with a hand sewn jewel border. The board is painted black and also has the jeweled border. The cake shimmered like the invitations, it was beautiful under the lights.

I know this says Tinkerbell cake and she is not on there, because... my customer is going to add it when she gets home. I will add the new image with the candle when I receive it from her.

This was made using the Wilton book pan, cutting it in half and standing it up. The Birthday girl wanted a sparkle and purple cake - she got it!

I made this cake in honor of the Cullen Crest created for Twilight! The cake was red velvet with vanilla buttercream. The blue was brushed with luster dust so it sparkled.

This cake was made for one of my daughters best friends. All of the decorating is done in buttercream with a few fondant/gumpaste details. They asked if I could make a pink and white princess cake and this is what I came up with. I used some sparkle dusts and pearl dusts for accents.

I made this cake for my stepcousin's baby shower. It was decorated to look like the invitation. I wish I would have gotten a picture of the invite with the cake. Though it turned out cute!

3 layer cake doen for an office birthday party! Wanted a package, went with a winter theme since it fit with their color scheme! I love these snowflake cutters! So easy to use! Cake covered in buttercreme with fondant accents....been struggling with my bows lately....just not flowing as nice as I like! Darn corkers breaking easy on me lately too....Grrrrrrr! Anyway....MERRY CHRISTMAS to all of my CC buddies!

6" stacked on 8" round covered in baby blue fondant. 3D Snowflakes made out of meringue icing and dried overnight. Fondant pearls around both layers. The whole thing is dusted with pearl dust to give it some sparkle

I made this cake for my niece for her 21st birthday. I also made the cake jewelry (it was my first time designing the topper). The butter cake was covered with homemade marmallow fondant and had a strawberries and cream filling.
