9 x 13 yellow cake with chocolate butter cream icing (under the grass which was regular butter cream). I purchased the soccer goals. The ball was made with the half ball pan covered with fondant. Shoes and jersey were also made from fondant.

I made these for my daughter's soccer team using a template (DEFINITELY DONT RECOMMEND). These cookies convinced me to finally break down order a projector! (after the fact, of course!) They took FOREVER!

This cake is decorated entirely with buttercream. The soccer ball was created by drying a piece of gum paste over the bottom of a glass bowl coated with shortening. Then, I piped stars over the dome to decorate the ball.

I made this soccer ball cake for a soccer team I was playing on at the time. I used the Wilton Ball Pan and iced it in buttercream. The ball was decorated to look like the World Cup ball, which was my team's favorite.

I made this cake for my nephew's birthday too. I had made the pirate ship cake for him but when I heard that he is crazy for the ''Besiktas Soccer Team'' (one of the Turkey's biggest sport club) I also made this cake too. He loved it!

this lady asked me to make a simple soccer ball cake saying Welcome Baby Eli so all I did is stacked the ball on a squared cake and added grass.

The coach of this team ordered many cakes from me for various sports. He usually wanted individual cakes for each kid w/a small one for the management staff - almost always with the team sponsor featured. Wilton's mini 1/2-ball pan is used for the baseballs & soccer balls with each kid's name on it - all in buttercream.
Usually I had to use a full sheet board & box to accommodate all the cupcakes. Sometime later the coach's wife told me one time while carrying the box onto the field he tripped and dropped the whole thing :(

This is a pull-a-part cupcake soccer ball. I put it on a black plate so you have to look close to see the outline of the cupcakes. Buttercream icing. My daughter always orders the pull-a-part cupcakes, easy for youngsters to eat.

NFSC with rolled satin ice fondant and RI decoration details. I printed a pentagon template and cut the soccer ball center shape by hand from black fondant so they all would be the same size on each of the many soccer balls I made - a real pain but perfect THAT way. Thanks for lookin'.

This is a soccer cake for a good friend little boy turning 4. Thanks for the ideas from CC on the soccer ball. I would do things differently with the pattern! I pulled it down from Wilton's site and the shapes didn't aling! :( Thanks for looking!

Darn...my buttercream settled darker than my fondant. Still looks pretty good though! I made this for a local soccer team's season end party. 6 and 8" rounds frosted and filled with buttercream. Fondant/gumpaste accents! TFL. I would love to hear what you think! :)

This was a combo graduation/birthday. The cake (which I hated, BTW) was designed to match the invitation. They only gave me one lantern as a sample, so imagine 3 more in maroon & brown. Cupcakes w/her interests - "C" for her name, soccer ball, wolverine pawprint (her HS mascot), SU for Seattle University where she's going to college, and crowns because she's a princess. Milk chocolate cake, vanilla cake, vanilla buttercream, and chocolate buttercream. I'll NEVER do dark red icing on a cake again. Ugh.

This was for a dear friend's husband. The cake was my 1st toilet and it took a lot longer than expected. The tank was made from 2 8"squares and I used a wilton's soccer ball for the bowl. The first one I made cracked in half and fell off 3 1/2 hours before delivery. I rebaked stuck in the deep freeze iced and deliveried it by the skin of my teeth. Overall with all that happened I was happy. I know what not to do next time.

I did this cake for my daughters soccer teams end of season party. I was not prepared for the humidity, so my buttercream got very soft, and you can see the points on the ball. Very Frustrating, however the team loved it, and all the parents were very surprised that this guy with the tattoos could create such a delicious treat! Used the sports ball pan for the soccer ball. Sheet cake was yellow cake with a whipped chocolate filling. Ued crushed Oreos on the outside to create the "dirt".

I went to hire the ball pan, but thought it was rather small, so I used a stainless steel basin, and the dolly vardin tin to make this. Just had to do a lot of carving!! It is covered in BC and the black is fondant.

1st true cake disaster. This is the only picture I have of this cake. I made it for a friend's son's birthday and they live 2 1/2 hours away. It was 90 degrees in my car but I thought, why not put this super cute cake in there anyway and just turn on the AC? Oh, and did I mention I had another stupid thought when I was stacking it and decided, hey, I heard something about bubble tea straws...don't have any of those, I think I will try plastic straws to hold up this very heavy 3 tier 8" chocolate cake with another tier (soccer ball) on top....THEN I drive it in the heat, 2 1/2 hours away, took the curves way too fast and hit every bump along the way and cried when I opened the trunk and saw the top 2 tiers had collapsed and crushed the bottom one. STUPID, STUPID, STUPID!

Wedding cake from this past weekend. This cake was a nightmare and completely stressed me out to the point that I'm thinking that I won't be doing anymore wedding cakes. Because it was a simple cake, I wanted it to be perfect, but my fondant was too thin, the bottom cake settled after they were stacked and then the air conditioning stopped working! Tough weekend! The ugly tree-like thing that appears to be rising from the top of the cake was actually the centerpiece on the table. The wooden monogram was supplied by the bride. The soccer ball on the groom's cake was made of RKT. That cake suffered from the heat and started to lilt a bit. Ugh.
