For the son of a co-worker. She won a certificate towards a free cake at a fundraiser I dontated to. for advertising. Since she already knew of my business I told her she had to pass out my cards at her party. She was so excited about this cake that she was thrilled to pass out cards. Its so fun to see how excited people get over their cakes.

This was my first try with the Wilton ball pan. I elevated the cake to cover it in fondant which I would never do normally and the weight of the fondant caused it to tear near the bottom so I added a scarf to hide the tear. Next time I think I will try and cover it with the cake on the work surface but it will be pretty tight round the bottom. Any tips on how to do this would be appreciated.

This was fo rmy niece. Had it been for a client I would've taken th etime to do the hexagons properly and overlay both black and white hexagons together for uniformness, and I would've added more decor around the bottom tier. . Inspired by Sweet Creations.

I made this cake for my daughter's friend who loves soccer and is from Nigeria. The french vanilla cake was constructed using a 6" and 9" cakes iced in buttercream with the soccer ball pattern piped on using tip #4 and the grass border done using tip #233. The sides were done with green fondant to symbolized the Nigerian flag.
