Cheesecake with American buttercream and chocolate building with lighted sign. This is the place in Dawson City, Yukon where the B&G met during a snow machine event. The sign is my favorite part, but I knew a photo would never do it justice. It is 2 discs of white chocolate sandwiching all the wires with the flashing lights sticking out the front and an EI of the logo of the place. The wires go down into the house and there is a hole in the back to access the controller.

I made this cake for my neighbors. We had a huge snow storm and I had to shovel a 4 car driveway by myself because all the men were away. The snow was up to my thighs (I am only 5 feet tall) and I was struggling when all of a sudden their teenage son came to my rescue with their snow blower. I made this as a thank you. I think this was the 4th cake I ever made. I put 3 snowmen because they have 3 children.

I made this for my son's 4th birthday. It was chocolate cake with cookies & cream filling with buttercream icing. The "water" was Wilton piping gel tinted blue. The Penguin (Mumble) on top was made from fondant. My son loved the cake!

FBCT - enlarged pics from the invitations, napkins, and internet...I can't remember which ones came from which source right now. I think it turned out pretty good. For a 2 year old birthday girl who loves the princesses.

11X15 strawberry cake with buttercream icing. I made this cake for my church's winter children's ministry volunteer luncheon in January 2007. Not sure you can see it, but there are two snow angels next to the text on the cake.

This cake was made during my cake class. We were allowed to make anything we wanted and I chose to make a cake with a snowman on it!! I love snowmen!! It is iced in all buttercream and the snowman was freehanded. It also has edible "sparkles" on it.

I had fun making this one. the snowflakes were very hard to get out of the mold I was using confec sugar at first and then i decided to use cornstrach and that did the trick. The cake is vanilla with a little bit of orange zest and i put fresh strawberries in the center and used cream cheese icing.

This is my first try at making a snow globe. I used store bought ready to use
cookie dough which accounts for the odd shape of the cookie. Royal icing
decorations and shimmer dust for the snow.

This is my second try at a snowman. I added just a little more detail. I still
need to work on it, but everyone loved them.

I made this for my nephews who had a Snow Cone machine at
their Birthday Party. I could not find any instructions on how to make
cupcake cakes. I could not figure out how to keep the cupcakes in the
shape of the snow cone while I put the icing on. So I taped the outside
ones to the board-NOT A GOOD IDEA WHEN YOU HAVE 15 HUNGRY
KIDS TRYING TO GRAB ALL AT ONCE AND THEY WONT COME OFF
OF THE BOARD!!!

Every time I make a cake, my almost-three year old daughter asks me if it is for her so, this weekend I decided to make one specially for her. She had minor surgery during the week and was really brave and she LOVES Sow White so, this was for her. It's not my best work but she loved it!!!!!

The little girl who wanted this cake wanted Snow White, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty on her cake so what I did was make a hand painted plaque for each and then placed it onto the cake.

Elisabeth (my daughter) turned three today! She wanted a princess party and a Snow White birthday cake, so this is what I came up with...I used the barbie cake pan and covered the barbie doll bodice top in fondant and the bottom is yellow buttercream icing on top of funfetti cake.
