3 tier Halloween Wedding cake. All butter cream finished.Skulls are fondant covered with sugar. The bride and groom skelletons were provided by the mother or the groom and she told me to make a cake topper "crazy and different". Well, at 1 in the morning, this is what I did. Very risque, but the bride loved! I have to add that this was a very challenging cake to do. I will have to rethink my support system for this kind of cake. Also, I had to sit in the back of the delivering van holding the 2 bottom tier for 50 miles while my hubby drove. It made to the venue ok but it was shaky and by the time we got there, so was I ! Thanks for looking :)

This cake is a two-tier fondant covered cake. I airbrushed white fondant with black coloring, and used buttercream to pipe the webs. The bones and spider are made out of gumpaste. Hope you like it!

10'' dk chocolate and 8'' red velvet w cream cheese filling. All gumpaste and fondant accents hand painted and molded:) The lil headstones were pressed with stamps and dusted/paintes with food coloring. The fence is royal icing. The casket is a 50/50 chocolate fondant w gumpaste mix for the wood and royal icing inlay. The cushion inside casket is mm fondant pressed with impression mat. all covered in mm fondant. I textured the bottom tier to make the night sky look... well, more textured, lol. I think in the photo it just looks like bad fondant work tho... both tiers were the exact same batch of fondant tho! May have been a mistake, but it did look better in person. Ahhh, live n learn!

This is a Halloween cake that I made for a kids Halloween party at my husbands work. It's got moving hands in the graveyard, spinning bats on top of the house, strobe lights inside the house, flashing red eyes in the haunted tree, a light up yellow moon, lighted pumpkins, and lighted skeleton torches. It was a really fun cake to make!!

The cake consisted of 9 layers of full sheet cake. The final size was 4' x 2'. Yellow cake with a cookies & cream filling. Most was covered in buttercream, but some parts had fondant & gumpaste accents.

The design was 100% from the bride and groom....there are 3 other trees and two more owls that complete the bottom tier design...the monogram is the bride and grooms initial made to resemble the wax seal they used on their invitations....about 90% of the detail was done in royal icing....I was pretty pleased with how close I was able to replicate their sketch...they were thrilled with the outcome...

The skull on top is modeled out of rice krispie treat, covered in fondant, with royal icing detail. The drips were made from Dove Fudge Ice Cream Topping that I colored black with gel food coloring. I softened the fudge in the microwave and used a spoon to drip it around the cake edges.

these were for my kids' Halloween parties at school. I just used whatever leftover cake I had on hand, so some were chocolate and some were vanilla flavored. Dipped in vanilla candy melts, and piped with chocolate to make the faces.

I made this cake for my son's Birthday, he was obsessed with skeletons this year, he had to be one for Halloween, decorate with them, so of course he wanted a birthday cake that involved a skeleton. The bottom is a devils food chocolate cake with chocolate butter cream frosting, and coated with crumbled chocolate cookie's to resemble dirt. The tombstone is sour cream pound cake with butter cream frosting covered in fondant. the skeleton's head was a vanilla bean butter cake with butter sauce frosted in vanilla bean frosting covered in fondant, all accents are fondant. My son loved it, so I was a happy Mom!!! thanks for looking!!! :)
