Versace shoe box, versace logo bag, and shoe. Everything is cake, except the shoe. Favorite colors of client were green and silver, hence the colors. Logos are silver colored white chocolate.

I made my first fondant cake.My first time working with a gum paste to make a high heel. I made my cakes matching with my black ,white and red polka dots dress .LOL

Birthday cake for a friend. Her husband ordered the cake after one of her high heels broke. Shoe and tissue paper made from gumpaste. Cake iced with buttercream with fondant circles.

This cake was created for a girl's birthday who only wanted a pair of pink converse shoe's as a gift. The mom found a cake pic on the internet and asked if I would recreate it (original is better). All carved cake covered in MF. Tissue paper, shoe strings etc. all MF. Lettering is royal icing. This girl was thrilled about the cake which made my day:) TFL

This is the Birthday Cake I and my niece made for my daughters 20th birthday. The shoe box is the cake. The gum paste shoe was made from a pattern we made by taking a shoe apart.

Made this for a bridal show to show idea for bridal shower and to remind brides of grooms cakes! It as a lot f fun and got lots of attention! So far so good....Ive got at least one booking each day since the show! Thank you to all o you for all the inspiration and the courage to go for it full time!

A waitress saw my other cake in the restaurant she works in and ordered one for herself. She really wanted the exact same cake. The major difference with this cake, is that i used my new airbrush to paint the box. Insead of mixing food coloring with alcahol. I must say that airbrushing evenly is not easy. but, the cake was dry a few minutes after painting it, as opposed with the foodcoloring and paintbrush method where the cake stayed wet for a very long time. I also changed the flower on the shoe, made it a bit more truer to the real shoe flower. Also i chnaged my construction method for the heel, by using a dowel. since this was a bit last minute i did not have a coulpe days to let the shoe properly dry. I know the cover is a bit crooked, Other than the cover being crooked, i'm quite plese with this 2nd cake :-)

Everything is completely edible, hand-molded and hand painted. Top cake (little box) is chocolate with pink vanilla butter cream and pink vanilla pudding. Bottom cake (Ugg box) is vanilla with pink vanilla butter cream and pink vanilla pudding.

Firstly, a huge thanks for the brilliant shoe template and step-by-step instructions on the how2cake.com website!!! Secondly, a big thank you to all the other cake-makers who have uploaded their shoe box cake pictures here on CC, from whom I got a lot of inspiration!! 9" x 6" vanilla sponge torted and filled with jam and buttercream, covered with marzipan and sugarpaste.

I made this Air Jordan and Jordan shoebox for my husband's 30th birthday. The shoe was wasc carrot cake and the box was red velvet. I'm not crazy with the way the shape of the shoe turned out but everyone raved about it and I am my own worst critic. The logos and box label are edible images. TFL!

1st time trying a shoe. Next time, I'd make the line from heel to toe more smooth instead of such an angle. 1st time I stenciled too, just did that with bc ontop of the fondant panel, then attatched the fondant panel to the side of the box. Toba Garrett's chocolate fudge cake with indy's bc for filling.

Everything is covered with fondant. The label for the box was done with an edible image sheet. The Air Jordan logo was cut with the cricut.

This was for a shoe fanatic who loves Louboutin! I attempted the shoe box with a fondant lid, but it ripped, so I just iced the whole thing and called it good! She loved it regardless!

This cake was made for a friend's 50th birthday party. Gift bag is a 6 layer strawberry cake, stands about 15 inches tall, with fondant 'tissue' paper. Shoe boxes stacked, bottom is double choc fudge, middle is WASC, and top is vanilla with lemon filling. Shoe on top is made out of fondant, modeled after the actual shoe, complete with red bottom sole and bow on the back of the shoe. Decorated with edible diamonds on some of the boxes and gift bag. TFL!!

These are all 3" x 5" shoe box cakes with a matching shoe on top, and 3 mini purse cakes at the top. These were inspired (in a humble attempt!) by the work of cupcakeenvy! Thanks for the inspiration. The shoe box cakes are all done in Pink velvet Chambord cake and the purses are vanilla cake.
