I did this cake for the tip of the month challenge. The whole cake was done in buttercream icing, using only tip #5. I did some smoothing with the end of the tip on the scarecrow but the rest was just piped on.

This is the final cake from Wilton's Course 2. This was my first time doing the basketweave and I really liked it. It makes a great impression. The pumpkins, leaves, and the scarecrow are all colorflow. The basket handle is made of royal icing. I attached long sucker sticks to the scarecrow and both sides of the handle so I could stick them in the cake.

Made for fall-theme birthday(s) party at work. Spice cake with chocolate fondant & figures. I think I added too much cocoa to the MMF recipe, it was really dry and cracked easily. Inspiration was from many similar cakes on CC.

8" round; made this cake for a co-worker who asked for a chocolate peanut butter mousse cake. Covered in buttercream (tried Sugarshack method); used instructions from sculpty.com to model the turkey and scarecrow using fondant. First time modelling anything - so obviously I learned alot (and know what not to do next time!!). The calendar is fondant covered with wafer paper. Thanks for looking and Happy Thanksgiving.

I want to thank Jean aka Price she sent me some wonderful direction for the turkey although mine is not as good as hers I was very happy w/ the cake.

Boy did my hand hurt after doing this one. I had no strength left when it came to the last hay bail, which is why it doesnt look as good as the other two. Chocolate cake with cream cheese icing. The pumpkins and scarecrow are fondant, first time at modeling fondant. I got the idea from Tawana.

This is a wedding shower cake! The bride's whole shower theme is Oz. It contains all the characters, but being respectful of CC's request to not post more than one picture, I've only posted this one. Other shots of each character can be found on the website listed in my signature. Thanks for looking!

This is my attempt to copy bakinccc's adorable Wizard of Oz cookies.
I sent them to my mom for her birthday, she is a Wizard of Oz nut.
I also used geminirj's oz cookies for inspiration and made some hearts with quotes from the move.
Thanks to everyone for all the inspiration, I had a lot of fun making these
