This was a bakers douzen birthday for our 3rd son. May was too busy so here is our 13 month old's cake (almost to the minute!) He really wanted Curious George off the cake! Thanks for looking.

I carved this fish out of two 13 x 9's that I had stacked. This was the first time that I had carved a cake and it was a very scary task! I covered the cake in fondant and hand painted the coloration on. The lady requested that the "bait" on the hook be a wedding ring. I thought it turned out cute.

...well, it was supposed to be!!! It turned out looking more like a Mosaic piece. Next time I wiill make the circles bigger so you can tell they are actually rings. I made this cake for a 90th birthday for a precious lady who loves to quilt. The design was inspired by a FABULOUS cake done by Kitagrl.

This was taken from 2007's Wilton Yearbook, but I made it two tiers and added more pizzazz. I changed the color flow colors to match my friend's wedding colors. Two of the bows broke, despite making about six bows for breakage. I still like how it came out, though. It's a lemon cake with lemon filling and covered in fondant, of course. I'm still saving money to buy a decent leveller, though.

I decorated this cake with buttercream and sculpted a rice crispie treat into a diamond that I covered in fondant and brushed with a pearl dust. I then did some fondant accents on the tiffany colored box. I had so much fun making this one. I had to put a skewer in the diamond so it wouldn't fall over. (it was heavy!)

The bride did not want cake for her shower so we did cupcakes instead. They are frosted with lime green and hot pink buttercream, and each cupcake has a little topped made out of fondant. This picture shows the white wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses that were hot pink and lime green, and also the engagment rings which actually stand up. I also made flower bouquets and individual flowers.

Got this idea from many here on cc. Bought the diamond ring as a cute keepsake for my sister and decided to incorporate it into the cake for her engagement party. Chocolate covered cherry cake filled with cherry buttercream and chocolate ganache. All covered in marshmallow fondant. Thanks to Nunuk for the idea and also to carmenid for answering my questions!

This cake design was inspired by Martha Stewart. It is a Texas Pecan Pie Cake with Praline Frosting. It is topped with sugared pecans. My husband was sweet and piped on the design for me.
