2-layer 8" rounds with 2-layer 6" rounds decorated in buttercream and HMMF to match baby gir's baptism dress. The client called me to personally tell me that people who saw the cake said they wondered if her daughter would pop out of the dress, it matched so well. Thought that was funny.

A first communion cake for a friend's son tomorrow. It was my first time making calla lilies, or any gumpaste flower for that matter. I had really no idea what I was doing. I had a little trouble with all of the wiring and taping etc. The cross was from a silicone mold. It has a nice verse on it and says First Holy Communion. Thank you Shirley W for all of your help! You came to my rescue more than once. Also a thank you to SugarShack, as I took inspiration from many of her lovely cakes.

This was an idea from CC. She wanted shades of royal blue. Also there is an edlible buttefly in the flowers. My first time doing that. It was a lot of fun!

This cake was for my niece this past weekend for First Communion. I've never done the swags before that scoop down and back up, so it was good practice. I bought the topper as part of her gift.

I made this cake using melted almond bark for the cross....used a cookie cutter to mold and attached with a lollipop stick. Also used almond bark for the butterflies, I made and attached wings separately using Wilton's flower formers to be able to angle wings.

I completely attempted to copy BOWEEN's design. I think I failed miserably. It was so humid and rainy that day.....my MMF just wouldn't set up. I tried the best that I could and the mother was very happy with how it turned out. Thanks for looking.

Praying hands and Stained Glass. This is a cake I did for my Pastor's birthday. I have never done stain glass look before. It didn't come out as well as I had hoped.
