My 4-yr-old little girl wanted a Rapunzel cake for her birthday! We had a party down the park so I made so cupcakes to go with the cake so the children can just grap and eat! It was a hit! Lots of children came and asked for more!

This was for my daughter's 7th birthday. She wanted a square cake with Rapunzel. I wanted to make a gumpaste flower. So this is what we came up with. It's a fondant covered strawberry cake. I had a terrible time with the fondant because of the heat/humidity. Loved using the clay gun to make a hair border. The "healing flower" is a stargazer lily (Thanks Edna!) with swirly wires in the center dipped in rainbow disco dust. Thanks for looking!

I did this cake for a birthday 7 .
Her mom sent me a picture with the idea and I did the cake. When the girl saw the cake she said " Guauuu ...look better what in the picture!!!
I did the tower in rice crispy (I used sugar cones too).
After that I covered the tower with mix fondant and gum paste.
Was my first time to use this kind of mix.
I need more practice I now but I really feel happy with this cake...

My daughter is in Love with Tangled, so when she wanted a Tangled themed party I started by looking at the bakery section of our local store and disappointed with their only option. Determined to do better, I came up with this little number. I made an 11x14 sheetcake and wilton's recipe for buttercream icing. I purchased the boat toy from Toys R Us, placed it on a thin sheet of plastic wrap and then colored a little tub of piping gel to create the lake and sculpt it around the decoration. AFter that I lined the sore with some jelly bean rocks I got from our local cake shop and tinted some of the frosting green creating grass with the grass tip. Then I did the writing before doing the shell border at the bottom of the cake and using the dropflower tip to do the edging along the top. This was my first ever completely home made cake and I was really proud with the results...and this is before I take my first cake decorating class. All I can say is thank goodness for online tutorials. Before this I'd never even worked with piping bags or tips before! At any rate, I"m very proud and my daughter was ecstatic!

7" rd cake for a small birthday party. I needed a design for a tangled cake that wasn't very big and I found this great design by fellow cc'er sebrina. It is not as good as the original but I was very pleased with how the cake turned out. TFL!

A version of Rapunzel's Tower. Bottom cakes are petal shaped chocolate with buttercream frosting/decorations. The tower is supported by a metal pipe (covered with plastic) and shaped with rice krispie treats, covered with fondant. The top of the tower is a white cake covered in fondant, roof is RKT covered with fondant shingles..Took about 16 hours ...but worth the look on my daughter's face the next day!

I helped a friend of mine to make this cake, I designed it and piped the face and the pet, and my friend piped the rest, I have to confess that was her first cake using this technique and she did it pretty well, although she needs to practice more.
Chocolate cake, blackberry filling and vanilla frosting, was a 50 portions cake.

Customer wanted a very girly cake with a Tangled theme. She wanted a crown also. I had to incorporate the hair and this is what resulted! Thanks to my fellow CCers for inspiration. This was my first time using the funky letter tappits, had a little trouble at first but got it in the end! TFL :)

My daughter's 4th BIrthday cake. I think I overjudged the size of the cakes for this one as her dress is a little bit big!! 3 six inch cakes filled with buttercream and covered in fondant with a rapunzel doll in the middle.
