Sophie the dog for my friends daughter. The body and head are strawberry cake, the legs and tail are rice crispy treats. dog is covered in Buttercream. The bowl is strawberry cake covered in fondant and chocolate dog food.

I made this puppy cake for my daughter's 9th Birthday. For the body I used a loaf pan, the head was a large cupcake, and the legs were Twinkies. I even found dog biscuit shaped graham crackers to put in the dog bowl!

I carved the puppy's head out of rice krispies and the rest is cake with fondant decorations.

They're puppy pops, what more can I say?! Same as my piggy pops, dipped in regular eating chocolate, fondant/modelling chocolate for the ears/muzzle etc.

I was asked to make some pug cupcakes so these are what I made up ... they did take a long time to do, a total of 5 hours for 12 cupcakes but I was happy with the end result

I made this cake for my niece's 2nd birthday. She didn't quiet have the words to 'Happy Birthday' down and would sing 'Happy to you' instead. It was very cute. Cake is a dense vanilla cake covered in an experimental icing (whipped cream and icing sugar). Chloe's eyes lit up when she saw Wags the Dog from the Wiggles.

I made this cake for a little boy's 1st birthday. My client sent me a picture of a similar, yet simpler cake to take inspiration from. It was relatively easy to make... I just did a little more modeling on the face to give my puppy a little more "character"!

1st birthday cake for my grandchild. Sponge cake filled with buttercream, covered in sugarpaste (fondant). This is from a design in a Debbie Brown book. The butterfly is a royal icing run out, usng flower stamens for the antennae. The cake board (actually, its an upturned tray!) has been covered in sugarpaste and embossed using a flower cutter and a heart crimper. As cake tins / pans, I used an ovenproof basin for the body and an oversized cappucino cup for the head; snout, paws and tail are sugarpaste. discs on collar are strawberry flavoured choclate buttons (in uk, they are made by Silverspoon and can be found in many supermarket baking aisles - I think Wilton also do flavoured buttons, possibly called Candy Melts?)
