I made this vanilla cake for my niece's 6th birthday. She was so excited when she saw it and wouldn't let her sister eat any of the fondant makeup pieces. The cake and RKT face cream jar are covered with Buttercream and all the makeup/decorations are fondant. This was my first and possibly last bag/purse cake - it was a near disaster but thankfully held together. TFL.

This cake was for a make-up themed party where all the girls got make-overs. The cupcakes are chocolate with caramel filling and strawberry. The icing is buttercream, and all make-up pieces are fondant. Thanks to Granpam for the inspiration.

I made this cake for my sister's pink high heel party. All of the women wore pink high heels with black outfits. The cake went well with the theme. The cake is 2 layers of vanilla and 1 layer of strawberry with buttercream and covered with fondant. This was my first attempt at making a gift bag and a high heel shoe.

Did this for a 6 year old who was having a little girls spa party. Her mother said she wanted lots of makeup on the cake. I came up with this. It was a hit. The cake is 1/4 sheet cake covered in BC. The purse is cake covered in fondant. All the makeup is made with fondant.

WASC cake and choc recipe for WASC. The white layer has her favorite colors (Pink and purple) swirled in it-like a marble cake. Coverd in MMF, buttercream dots and writing. All characters are MMF. The middle pieces represent what will happen at the party-painting nails, eating pizza, wathcing a magic show, eating popcorn. The popcorn is made by pinching and slightly rolling bits of marshmallows. The "butter" is put on the popcorn by dying a small amount of water dark yellow, swirling a toothpick in it then stirring the yellow toothpick into the popcorn:) all sleeping bags have luster dust on them in a coordinating color. The small pink dots on the side of the cake have disco dust on them.

This is a two-layer carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. All lipsticks and nail polish bottles are made of white chocolate clay. Fun!

This was for a friend's little girl, who turned 10. The bottom tier is chocolate cake and the top two are white, all covered in buttercream. The dots and bottles of nail polish are mmf, the bow and ribbon are mmf/gumpaste mix, and the D on the top is a cake topper provided my friend. Darbi loved her cake, and that makes it all worth it! TFL!

What little little girl woun?t love a hot pink sparkly bottle of nail polish for her birthday! This cake was four 8 inch round white cakes covered in hot pink vanilla butter cream. White fondant daisies with black fondant centers. Each daisy was hand painted with pearl luster dust and dried in a flower former so the petals were curved. The handle to the bottle of nail polish was originally done with rice crispy treats and covered in black fondant but, it weighed almost 2lbs and would add too much weight to this already tall and heavy cake. So that idea was scratched and opted for non-edible styrofoam was covered in fondant instead. i forgot to weigh this cake but it was pretty heavy and pretty tall too at least 26 inches tall! 10" bottom tier, 6" and 5" cakes stacked and carved into bottle of nail polish. The lid of the bottle is RKT covered in fondant. My favorite part was the nail file - gum paste covered in edible glitter!
