I used Scrapbook stuff for the clothes and the bassinet. I didn't have much time to prepare for this one so that was my "quick fix"!!

My sister told me she was ordering a sheet cake for my baby shower. My response was that my little girl wasn't getting "no stinkin' sheet cake!" Thus, I made my own shower cake. Cake is covered in fondant with fondant accents. Booties are made from mini muffins and covered in fondant.

First diaper bag attempt. Used instructions from helipops and accents inspired by Martacake. Thanks to all the talent on here! I loved it until I drove it to the shower and it fell over before I got of my street. I didn't cry. I wanted to...but I didn't. TFL

8" round raspberry cake with cream cheese frosting and pink fondant. Baby buggy, butterflies, and flowers made from fondant. Pink gingham ribbon trim around the bottom.

One of two cakes for a baby shower, the other one with same brown and pink color scheme but with Hello Kitty on it. Loved making this! It is all mmf (even the shoes!). Huge thanks to Stellastarchild for the wonderful template and instrctions on the converse she has in her photos.

This is a mini-version of my baby shower cake minus the footsies since its for a bridal shower. I absolutely love how this came out! There were 40 additional cupcakes.

I made this for a past co-worker expecting her first child. SHe has no idea I'm doing this. 8',6' white chai Tea with almond buttercream icing, & MMF. Baby made from 50/50 blend, first time making a baby I have some work to do. TFL!!

This was lemon with lemon curd filling on top, strawberry with strawberry preserves in middle, and white with vanilla custard on bottom. Buttercream covered in fondant with fondant, gumpaste, and royal icing flowers.

Buttercream with fondant decorations. I tried to do a plaid design on the front. I had seen a picture of a cake similar to this and that's where I got the ideas from.

Customer brought picture of cake...this is my version. I didn't have time to purchase an impression mat, so I had to do the quilt look freehand. Wish I would have had time to get an impression mat, but I guess it looks alright. I just hope the customer is happy with it. Any positive criticisms would be appreciated!

Shower cake for a friend who tried for years to get pregnant and was finally blessed with a healthy pregnancy. Purple and Pink are her favorite colors and matched her shower colors. Notice the foot mommy wanted pressed up against the dress.

Yellow cake with vanilla BC. Customer request cupcakes with sugar decorations all girlie for the arrival of her baby girl. A C-section delivery for June 25 but baby decided to come Friday June 19 so as soon as I got the call I was in the kitchen doing my thing. Mom and baby are doing fine and the cupcakes were just the icing on the top to all that was going on. Thanks for looking.

8" chocolate cake with chocolate butter cream icing. Fondant bow and polka dots. Customer wanted to incorporate a monkey into the cake so I made her out of fondant. This was a fun cake!

I did not make this cake, but it was made for my baby shower by a good friend. She used the Wilton baby carriage pan and Wilton fondant with black and white buttercream decorations. I think she did an awesome job and I thought others might benefit from seeing her work.

This is made just like the blue one that I put on here, but it's for a little girl instead. The bottom is an 11 x 15 sheet cake and the baby bottom is a carved 6'' round. Buttercream with fondant and gumpaste accents. Thanks for looking!

I made these onesie cookie for a baby shower. The only request was that they be pink. Sugar cookies with a glaze and royal icing accents. The tiny flowers are fondant.
