12" chocolate cake trimmed to pie shape. Chocolate buttercream frosting. Cherries are rolled buttercream and gel is homeade piping gel.

The idea for the pie came from Wilton's cupcake fun book. The cupcakes are lemon and the topping is blueberry preserves and buttercream. These were fun to make and went well with the spaghetti cupcakes!

I made this cake to look like cherry cheesecake. Its kind of a mean cake. I made it for my brother who loves cheesecake, but surprise he's gonna find out looks can be deceiving. LOL

For my daughter's 3rd birthday. She wanted ponies on her cake, so I gave her ones she could keep and play with after the party. 9" and 6" covered with MMF and MMF accents.

These were so awesome! Key lime cake with key lime pie filling. Buttercream swirl with a dab of the key lime filling on top and green sugar sprinkles. They were a HUGE hit.

A friend bakes pies for a living so on her birthday, I made her this cake. All fondant hand painted crust, cherry pie filling, chocolate cake and chocolate fudge buttercream between the layers. The cake was baked in the pie pan then layered. TFL!

For a "Little House on the Prairie" birthday party. These were suppose to be girly with a rag doll, a pie, a quilt, and a horse (Bunny)...and then wildflowers on the rest! Half were chocolate and the other half white. Covered with luster dust!

I got the inspiration for these from the Wilton Cupcakes magazine. They were pretty easy and a lot of fun to make. Chocolate cupcakes with cherry pie filling and buttercream icing. tfl

I got the idea from Wilton's cupcake book. The cupcakes are jumbos and I used pie filling. My 2year old helped with these! Fun and super easy!

I made these to send to my brother in Oregon since he will not be coming home for Thanksgiving this year. They proved more difficult than I thought, and I am not totally happy with them. Oh well, I learned a lot. By the way, that is a biscuit in the right-hand corner not the giant, man-eating blob. :-) These were inspired by SweetDreamsAT's fantastic pumpkin pie cookie. I used Penny's sugar cookies recipe with Antonia's RI.

these went with my pumpkin pie cake for thanksgiving dinner. they are pumpkin pie cupcakes. i used cream cheese buttercream to make the filling, crust and whipped cream swirls. thanks for looking!

I saw these in Wiltons Cupcake fun book. It reminded me of a version of black forest cake- sort of. The cake is chocolate, vanilla BC, cherry filling/topping. And, they're absolutely adorable. I must be having a great holiday already b/c im thrilled with the way everything im making is coming out!! go me, go me! LOL. TFL

"boston creme pie" cake(in cc recipes) with buttercream filling and chocolate drizzles and a chocolate wrap! It was sooo good, I made it for my husband and he loved it!

I made this cake for my mil whom bakes pies. Word to the wise DO NOT put fondant lattice on top until about 10 min before cake is "due" it WILL melt in the cherry juice within an hour. tfl

Made for my daughters "Pi day" at school, it's for math. I will make 30 of them tomorrow. These were practice. Our local Food Lion donated the Keebler Graham Cracker mini pie tins and I just took out the graham crackers and baked the cakes in them. I got idea from robinscakes here on CC. Thank you Robinscakes for letting me borrow your cute idea, the kids will be SO HAPPY! All made from buttercream, I used a tip 103 for the pie shell and a tip 47 for the woven crusts.

Yes, if it's made of cake. Juicy drips made of colored corn syrup. Cake uses the Wilton Christmas tree pan.

Spice cake with apple pie filling, BC icing, tip 98 for border. Made this cake while waiting for coarse 2 to start. Had to experiment with tip 47. Just icing a cake is not possible anymore. Thank you everyone for sharing your beautiful ideas.

A brownie cupcake, topped with cherry pie filling, with choc BC icing piped out, then topped with drizzled, melted white chocolate. I do a monthly board meeting catering for about 15 people and they let me experiment on them with new items!

My Mother-In-Law loves lemon pie, but I make cake. Lemon cake carved to look like a pie. Chocolate fondant on bottom, buttercream swirls on top, and fondant lemons.
