iced in BC and covered in MMF. VW bug is 50/50 gumpaste/MMF and then used wired to stick into cake and support.

I made this cake for a friend's daughter's 18th birthday. I think peace signs are the in thing for girls now. The peace signs are made of color flow 6 different colors swirled with a toothpick to look tie-dyed.

The young lady have very strong ideas what she wanted. I tried to include everything without too much stuff. Chocolate and Strawberry cakes with Bavarian Cream filling.

This cake is all buttercream. I ordered spray to sray the colors on it, but they didn't come in on time so i just put icing on the cake and blended it in. the peace sign is made of gumpaste and the smileys and flowers are made of fondant.

Birthday cake for a 14 year old. 10" square with turquoise buttercream and a fondant zebra striped peace sign and zebra striped flowers. This was a fun cake to make. Also made 30 cupcakes to match. TFL!

This is a 16in round cake double layered with the top layer carved out. It is white cake frosted with BC and air brushed with color with pearl overcoat. Made for a teenage girl birthday.

Made for an 8 yr old who asked for "peace signs, hearts and smiley faces" and this is what I came up with. 10' fudge marble, 6" yellow covered in BC fondant/gumpaste decorations.

Chocolate cake with buttercream, covered in fondant. Put pink color in fondant and didn't mix completely. Then after covering the cake I painted the orange/red color on the fondant. This was a fun cake!

I cannot leave my oven alone even on my BD :) I made this cake for myself, and always wanted to try Handbag cake, I love tie dye and Peace sign. It was fun to play with fondant again...but I wish I could do a more clean job.

This cake is a 10" decorated in fondant. Zebra stripes and peace signs for a 15 year old girl. All fondant with fondant curly cues also.

My boyfriends neice loves black and lime green and peace signs. So thats what I had to go with on this cake. All buttercream except the accents are MMF. I prepared the cake the night before and we drove it 3 hours to deliver. It melted :( I have a really small car, so I thought just putting the cakes in the trunk (in boxes) would be okay, but it was about70-80 degrees that day we had 4 of us in the car, about halfway there we moved the cakes to the cab, but it just wasnt enough... She still loved it though! Yellow cake with buttercream on bottom, top has chocolate fudge icing. My BF doesnt like the choc buttercream even though it holds up better.

Birthday cake for my youngest daughter. Made with the Wilton stand up bear pan. Chocolate fudge cake with vanilla and chocolate buttercream and fondant accents. My daughter decided she wanted her cake to match her favorite T-shirt. TFL!

This was my first attempt at a 'zebra print.' This cake was made using a 1 layer, 10 inch round cake pan. Zebra print peace sign and flowers were made out of fondant. (Thanks to my fellow cakecentral member for the idea!)

2 tier White (top tier) and Strawberry (bottom tier) cake with 6 and 10 inch tiers. Covered with Buttercream icing (top tier) and Strawberry icing (bottom tier). Fondant topper painted with gel colors. Name done with handmade stencil.
