This is based on the Wilton Green Greetings cake. The leprachaun is a color flow plaque (it didn't break!).

I donated this cake and cupcakes to a MOMS Club fundraiser. The cake was a 6" round, on a 12" board, all covered in fondant. The leprachaun and pot of gold on top was fondant. Cupcakes were iced in two tone buttercream. Thanks to leesha10 for the inspiration!

The inside of the cake was suppose to resemble a rainbow when cut into, but I think because the batter was thicker than say a cake mix, it didn't rise right.

Rainbow Birthday cake I did for a customer's daughter on St. Patrick's Day. All buttercream frosting using the petal tip #104. With a fondant bow. The inside frosting filling layers were also buttercream but I didn't get picture from when they cut into the cake.

My step-daughter wanted a St. Patty's day/Ice Skate/Birthday cake! Her birthday is on St. Patty's day and we celebrated at an ice skating rink! :) I made the ice-skate out of fondant/gumpaste. You can also see the pic in my website... www.elaynescustomcakes.webs.com.

Fruit cake covered with royal icing and the outer bag material made with Emma's favourite marzipan. All decorations (except the chocolate money) are made from marzipan and are typically the bits and bobs she has in her bag, including the Saints Football Teddy! his was my first attempt at a handbag and I was working from photographs of her actual bag which had shorter dimensions but didn't matter!

*Cake is made from rice krispies, because I had no one to bake, they're cheaper than cake, and I'm getting the hang of molding with them! I wish the leprechaun looked a little more happy, but practise makes perfect with characters!
