I was going to attempt to make piped dragons but they ended up being clovers instead so I just added some Snoopy rings I had brought and hadn't found a use for yet. These would of gone good with the cake I want to make but we've eaten them all already.

I made this cake for my twin sister's that are turning 22 in March 7. They enjoy celebrating St. Patrick's Day, so I tried to make something they would both like around the Holiday they enjoy. Made with MMF/ Strawberry Cake, I also have the white sparkle dust on all the shamrocks but can not see in the photo. Enjoy !!!

Here is the leprechaun I plan to put on an upcoming St. Patty's Day cake. Poor little guy wore himself out protecting his gold! Thought I'd post it now to see what y'all think. My last fondant figures didn't turn out so great (see the scary fairies pic - YIKES!) This one is better, but there are still some things I would do differently. Hopefully each time I do it I will get a little bit better. TFL!!!

Created this cake for a true Chicago Cubs baseball fan. It was also his surprise 40th so the St. Patrick's day theme came into play. Baseball hat is cake along with bottom "base" -- all elements were covered with tinted white chocolate and dirt was crushed graham crackers. TFL!

This cake was a horrible experience I tried using stablized whipped cream icing and it was nearly impossible to work with because it was sooo soft. It's a basic white cake with irish cream filling . The clover on top is color flow and the one's along the bottom are royal icing.

Styrofoam cake made for a bridal show. I saw the ribbon in Walmart and thought, "Wow! That would make a great cake!" Slapped this one together in an afternoon for the show. 6/10 with fondant shamrocks on sides of cake and on pillars. Silk hydrangea on top.

Designed by the 5 year old b-day girl. Her birthday is on St.Patrick's day and she always has that theme for her cake. this year she asked for a shamrock castle with rainbow batter. The turrets are cones covered in green chocolate and brushed with green sparkle gel. There is a pot of gold on the top tier w/ yellow mini m&m's. Everything else is BC. My son pointed out that I did the rainbow colors backwards on the door (oops!) BC shamrocks scattered here and there.

Hershey's Perfectly Chocolate Cake recipe with mint buttercream icing decorated with chocolate coins. The caked looked good cut with the dark cake contrasting with the green icing. My guests liked the mint chocolate combo - they said it tasted like a Girl Scout thin mint cookie.

I'm taking my lazy leprechaun to work tomorrow to celebrate St. Patty's Day. That rainbow took some patience! I think it's time for a new lazy susan as the one I used didn't want to turn very easily!!! It didn't quite turn out how I envisioned it, but it'll work for my co-workers!!! TFL!
