I made this for my best friend's first baby shower. It is done entirely in homemade marshmallow fondant. I used a cookie cutter to make the little feet and made some sugar cookie cutouts to match to serve alongside the cake. The writing was piped in buttercream. The cake itself was white with raspberry filling to match what my best friend had served at her wedding previously. This was my first attempt at homemade fondant outside of a cake class. I'm pretty proud!

These were my entry for the Taste of Home cute cookie contest. I love them!! They are cut out by hand, using a wax paper cutout for the outline. I used Wilton's RI recipe, and the NFSC recipe. Honestly, before I made it, I really thought it was impossible for homemade sugar cookies to taste as good as the mix. I was wrong! Best sugar cookies ever!!

Baby shower cake in pinks and peaches, roses and stripes - all made to match a scrapped invitation. Fondant covered 14" base and 10" 2nd tier. Fondant roses on top. Baby dresses were the shower theme - there was a clothes line piped onto the 2nd tier with fondant and royal icing dresses on the line.

All three cakes are keylime with raspberry filling and covered in fondant with fondant accents and pearl dragees. I am loving to use the wire in the fdant with the different accents. This cake was so heavy to transport but the mother to be was totally pleased and I am learning more and more each time I do a stacked cake what I would do differently. MORE DOWELS!!!!!!
