I hate square cakes!! But everyone wants this gift box cake for their little girl's birthdays. Man! Anywho..I guess it came out okay. At least my bows are getting better, I cut it off in the pic a bit though. Yellow cake with BC and and MMF.

An 11 year old "girly" girl that is crazy about horses and collects "My Little Pony" and Webkinz Ponies...... Soooo.... I gave her a pastel stable and "girly" ponies.......The cake is one layer of chocolate, one layer of white almond with butter cream filling....... the "shingles" are Necco Waffers, and the flowers and ponies are made of fondant...... I think she will like it..... It is a take off of Debbie Brown's pony cake...

I made this for my husband's grandma's 80th birthday. It was a 6-8-10"...I actually baked & iced it a couple weeks before the party since we were coming in from vacation the night before the party. My friend came over to take it out of the freezer early for me. I had made all the fondant decors before we left so they were dry & ready to just stick on the cake once I had it assembled. All done, an hour drive to transport through a hail storm & it was a hit with 3 different flavors & one happy grandma!

first and foremost, the inspiration of this cake came from this site. I don't remember the lady's name HOWEVER, her website is: thepieceofcake.com. I apologize for not remembering. This is my FIRST EVER ATTEMPT at covering a cake in fondant. I molded a little elephant in Novemeber, but NOTHING like this. Thanks for looking!

This was for a 93 year old. I wasn't sure what exactly to do. So I stuck with pastel colors. The flowers are artificial. There is also ivory polka detail in between the flowers

I did the rose border as I accidentally tinted all my white icing and didn't have any for the traditional white border. It turned out quite lovely though, I'll likely do this again!

Fondant covered sugar cookies. They are missing something- not sure what? Maybe I should have done the dots on the tips or a bit of an outline on the tips?
