Airbrushed buttercream blue, made dark blue circles on cake with airbrush. Then used
clear piping gel to trace over dark blue circles-giving the wet bubbles look. Used blue and
white color striping techniques with a star tip to make spashing waves around Sponge Bob
figurine. This cake was awesome to make! I wanted to keep it for my own birthday.

The cake is two layers iced in buttercream. The shells are molded chocolate. The algae are made of buttercream. I used crushed graham crackers for sand. Patrick is made of homemade chocolate clay with buttercream detail. It may look like Patrick is sitting in an easy chair, but that's Spongebob at his back!

SC w/RI. Supposed to be like those patches we put on our jeans in the '70s. Believe it or not, the peace sign is piped onto a jumbo confetti. Smilie face was piped onto plastic wrap, then transfer over. Anyone recognize the wide white belt? Thanks for looking!

my youngest daughter wanted spongebob squarepants for her party at school and for her special celebration on her birthday. I could not find my square pan to save my life and i didn't have a box to put it in so she got an 8 inch round sponge bob round pants. she still thinks it's the best but made sure to point out the shape was wrong.
