This is my very first cake covered in fondant. I put too much icing underneath but other than that I think it turned out pretty well. I just couldn't bring myself to do a pastel cake and leave it at that so I hid bugs among the flowers. At work our QA department's job is to find bugs so I dedicated it to them. The flowers are gumpaste, the bugs are royal icing. It was my final cake for the Wilton Course III.
