I did this cake for my niece's 5th birthday. She had a cowgirl theme and I just used a Mickey Mouse pan. With a dress and a bow between the ears, he became a she! I cut the horse out of a 15" x 11" pan. At the party, we added twine from her hand to the horse's bridle to add the final touch.

I used fondant to make the firehose, an ice cream cone for the spout, and saran wrap for the water. The firetruck was made from two loaf cakes and I used pretzels for the ladders on the truck.

Just another cheese cake, first time making fondant figures, it was actually easier than I thought it would be. Cake was yellow with butterschoth pudding and butterscotch chips added. Actually very tasty although sweet! Thanks for looking.

This was for my daughter’s 2nd birthday. She LOVES Mickey Mouse, and was having a “kiddie” pool party so I combined the two. The best part was making all the little people and MM out of fondant/gum paste mixture.

I made this for a friend's son. She just said that he like MM Clubhouse so this is what I got. I was pretty frustrated with it, I had wished for a better result. BC with fondant topper and accents. Thanks for looking!
I uploaded this when I was late and forget to give credit to mmichelew for the cake topper idea. It was ALL her!!!

This was my nephew's other cake that I made for him. You can see that he had already gotten into it some :) It was BC with fondant accents and handmade fondant topper. Thanks again to mmichelew for the topper idea! By the way, I felt pretty clever when I put the ears on my wire, spiral ball decoration!!

I did this for my daughter-in-law's bridal shower. The photo is kind of bright, but the interesting part of the cake is the ears. They are made out of chocolate chip cookies, frosted, then coated in royal icing flowers.

6" Ball cake and rice krispie treats for ears. All decorated and covered in MMF. Had to add bow at bottom as fondant was very hard to shape.

Silver white cake, rolled buttercream frosting covering the cake, cupcake with candle. Fun for my son's first birthday... Buttercream is wonderful for molding to the cake, the cake is carved to the shape, but some holes needed to be filled in. It was fun to do! :)

Here's our daughter's 2nd Birthday Cake. It's following the Wilton Mickey Mouse pattern from the 06 Yearbook I tried to modify it for being Minnie Mouse instead. It turned out OK as I had trouble half way into it with my MMF. It took fine on the bottom (yellow) layer and the first layer on the (red) doll pan with the white dots. After that it became 'over worked' as I call it and was to easily torn. I guess by then I'd worked in to much color and crisco. Overall everyone loved it. Thanks for looking.

A big "THANK YOU" to Jaklotz1 for the inspiration and for posting the directions for making this cake! I didn't do her justice though. This is a 10" (face) with 6" (ears). White cake, buttercream, fondant facial features, ears, and polka dots.
