I demonstrated how to make these during the 2007 San Diego County Fair this year, I had 1 hour. Most of these were made per request from children in the audience. If you can make a ball out of fondant, you can make these! I got these ideas from polymer clay books!

I was inspired by another Cake Central baker...thanks for the great idea!

I made this from an 8" round and 2 x 5" round madeira cakes. I used a picture from Debbiedoescakes for Mickey's expression as her Mickey cake is so fabulous! (hip hip hooray Debbie!) This cake is all fondant covered and I used a sugar shaper and black paste to outline and define some areas.

My brother's Birthday present! He wanted a laptop with a mouse! For the windows logo I wrote "Cake Inside!" There is also a "real" mouse on the keyboard. The screen is a foil covered cake board trimmed in fondant with color mist sprayed on it and I used a candy writer for the text.

Computer, Desk and Chair is cake. Everything, but the paper (edible Paper, normaly used to make cookies), is Fondant. I loved the way this cake turned out. This cake took me two days to make all the details. Inspired from Carol Deacon.

This is for my in-law's anniversary cake. I'm new to gumpaste figures and these are not great, but all right. I'm not very good at painting details (eyes, buttons) yet, but hopefully that will come with practice. These were made using instructions from Toba Garrett's book "The Well Decorated Cake".

My scaled down version of a cake in the Wilton 200 yearbook. 8" square-3 layers. Iced in buttercream with fondant ribbon, "paper" on top, face, and arms. Arms are dowels wrapped in fondant. It actually looks more like the leaning tower of Yolanda. And I'm still working on icing square cakes. Just couldn't seem to get my smoothing down this evening either.

I made this for my sister in-law. It was her son's idea to do a Minnie cake, and her favorite color is lime green so I used it for her dress and bow. Buttercream frosting.

I made these for my son who saw Ratatouille movie with me recently. NFSC cookie and Antonia74 icing. I also use food color pen for lines and words for recipe card. I forgot to add Remy's white whiskers, but my son ate the cookies soon after I took this picture - LOL. It was fun making these.
