This customer was having a minnie mouse theme bday party for her 2 year old little girl. She wanted it to look like a present. I wanted to do the ears instead of the toy on the bow, but the color wasn't taking... but I am really happy with the way this one turned out, especially the red color.

This cake was done for a minnie mouse theme birthday. If I were to do it all over, I would fix the ears and make them closer to the head.

Pride & joy!! That's what I felt when I finished this monster. Very little cake - just the base 10" square and 1/2 sports ball. Head, ears, hand, and foot are all rice krispie treats covered in fondant. This was my first time working w/ RKTs - lots of lessons learned here.

This was for my brothers girlfriends 30th birthday, they have just come back from a holiday in America where they went to Disney Land so he thought she would love a Minni mouse cake. This was my first chocolate transfer (I need more practice!!!) I used caramel chocolate for her face, dark chocolate for her ears and head and white chocolate for her eyes and mouth. The cake was chocolate mudcake covered in chocolate buttercream.

This is a cake I did for a little girls 2nd birthday. The head of the cake is a 10" round and the ears are 6" round cakes that I trimed to fit the shape of the head. The sides and face are buttercream, and the facial features and ears are done in fondant.

This cake was a real learning experience!!!! Making the cake wasn't the hard part....I had to deliver it 1 1/2 hours away!!! It is a 10" round on the bottom with a wonder mold for the body and round cake (round sports ball pan) for the neck i used the core that came with the wonder mold pan as well as the stand which I used to set the head on. I used dowel rods through the core and left about 2 inches sticking out for the head to set on. I think it looked pretty good for the most part.

I made this cake for my father's 70th birthday last weekend. It is a journey through the four states that he has lived in - starting in Wisconsin, California, Alaska and then Maryland. The postcards are edible images on fondant. Cake is covered in buttercream with fondant accents. I'll post some follow-up pictures of each side of the cake as you can't see everything at the same time.

This is for a very sweet young lady turning seventeen today. I've been knowing Jaterria ever since she was born. Mink-Mink(her nickname) and my great-neice Danni (the one I did the shoes and handbag for) are best friends and both play high school basketball...they are heavy into basketball. I wanted to do something geared toward basketball for her and immediately thought of the Basketball Mickey from the Wilton Year Book.
Mickey is a fbct...wow, been so long since I've done one ; the basketball is frozen bc done in the plastic candy mold. I used their school colors of red and gold. I put her age as her jersey number.

I got lazy and didn't cover the cake board with decorative paper as usual . Anyone else tired of covering cake boards

A very different version of my first clubhouse cake, this one, I did just a very small fondant clubhouse and added the Mickey candle. This was for my son's birthday, so I let my kids help decorate (thus the squished in stars on the cake), and I ran out of time to add the decorative touches to the clubhouse, but he loved it!

My first ever wedding cake!!! Cake had different flavors throughout and I used Buttercream Dream for the frosting!! I took the picture crooked, but the cake is not!!
Cake was ordered by the brides BIL and FIL; they did the whole wedding, they just told me to do Mickey Mouse and this is what I did!! I know it's not perfect, but it's pretty decent for my first try!!
