I made this one for my mom. It also has a 4 inch butter pecan cake in the bottom of the bucket and chocolate cc's on top all frosted with bc frosting.

Thanks for posting on cupcake bouquets! Made these for mother's day. I piped the flowers differently and added a sugar paste bumble bee. The bumble bee is attached to a wire, so when the bouquet was carried the bee bounced about a bit, looking like a real bee buzzing about.

Well this has a lot of first times for me. 1st the cymbidiums, then the shaped tin i used, & finally the cake flavour, wow i tried the WASC cake recipe but the only hitch i had was i didnt read the recipe properly to realise i needed a whitle cake mix hehe so i comprimised & adjusted the recipe not using one. I added extra flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda & you know what it was soooo yummy and moist dense but a nice dense then i made a strawberry cream filling, My mother in law & family loved it.

My mom's church held a Mother's Day Tea. Design concept centers around the Blessed Virgin- with gold crown, rosary , roses. Also included on the base is the quote, "You are all my children." This quote is from a visitation by the Blessed Mother in Medjugorje.

2 10in rounds with a half ball pan on top. all bc, except the hat which was covered in fondant. this was the first time i used fondant. it was easier that i thought it was going to be. i made this at my moms house and left my bags and couplers back home. so i ended up decorating with my tips and a plastic baggie :*( !!

I loved making this cake.. one thing though. Now I know why I never hear of fondant over whipped cream cheese icing... eeekkkk!!!! It melts right into the icing and will tear if you look at it sideways. It also will not smooth at all. The only benefit was that it gave me something more solid to adhere my fondant flowers to. Royal icing piped details with striped purple and pink icing.

Nicholas Lodge Inspired. White Chocolate Amaretto Cake with BC icing. Special for Mother's Day as my MIL taught this dance every year and I used to dance it in a local festival. It was a big hit and everyone enjoyed it greatly. Happy Mother's Day to all!

This 8" strawberry-vanilla cake was smoothed iced in Cornflower Blue buttercream with assorted sized fondant flowers in various shades of pink. The bead border and dots were done in buttercream using a #6 tip.

Cupcake bouquet I made for my mother. The pot is a clay pot that I painted brown and made the polka dots with the end of my brush. Fabric ribbon glued around the top of the pot. Thank you Cambo for the tutorial and for sharing your idea.

I made this cake for my brother you got his Master's Degree and my mom for Mother's Day. We don't eat a lot of cake in the family, and the occasions fell a day apart, so I made a joint cake. Came out pretty well, I think. "Topper" and writing are all chocolate, everything else is whipped topping. There's also a picture in my album of the side view, if you're curious.

I made this for my MIL for mother's day. The cake is a half sports ball on a cake board the same size as the top of the flower pot. The flowers are royal icing.

WASC cake with buttercream icing. Apple blossom royal icing accents arond bottom. Icing turned out great b/c I had an older can of crisco ha ha!!!

This was a half diabetic. The top layer is an apple and cinnamon diabetic anthe icing is a diabetic recipie from on here with cream cheese and splendam teh color is a off white but its okay, The angel is a mess and has all its wings but you cant see one of them.
