14?, 10?, 6?. This cake nearly sent me over the edge. Squares are so difficult to ice! I spent almost 2 hours just smoothing out the icing. Then, on the way into the fridge, the cake tilted and hit my apron. The three front edges, of each tier hit my apron. I could see cake, never a good sign. Luckily, there was no structural damage. used some fresh icing, and my trusty Viva paper towels and was able to repair the mistake. I had to switch out a side, for the front of the cake.

My daughter's cake table. Seems so easy when you read about it on the internet. Two tiered cake became one. Nearly alienated two of my best friends. Look like a hag in all the pics. But she was happy. *sigh

3 tier Pea**** cake. 6-in red velvet, 9-in vanilla (tinted with swirls of black, purple, teal), 12-in chocolate. Buttercream with fondant "feathers" on bottom tier.

10-,8-, and 6-inch round fondant. Topper and flower are gumpaste. I saw the half-circle border done by The Pastry Studio, loved it, and finally got the opportunity to use it.

I had the wonderful pleasure of doing this cake for a 30th Birthday. I love the colors and was so excited to put it all together. Cakes are covered in MMF. Top cake is airbrushed silver underneath the quatrefoil. Flower and monogram are made with gumpaste. TFL

Congratulations to Nicole and Rich Ransone on this special day. Their 3 layer cocolada sweetheart cake was decorated with a simple but elegant floral pattern design, a gumpaste monogram keepsake topper and handmade fantasy flower. Also served was 132 assorted cupcakes for their guests.

I made this for my daughter. Chevron is some tricky stuff. Flower is gumpaste with a fondant ball center, outlined with pink pearl dragees. I had a different set of numbers for the '13', the '3' ended up breaking on me while putting onto the cake (I think I was too impatient and added the silver glaze too soon before it was completely dry...oops).
