When I saw Audres' flower cupcakes (http://cakecentral.com/gallery/2195970) I just knew I had to make them for my friend's birthday. These are a citrus cupcake, filled with mango curd and topped with meringue - just perfect for summer.

I should have made a gumpaste or fondant plaque for the monogram. That Italian meringue buttercream is just crazy to work with after its in your hand for too long!

Traditional Buche de Noel (Martha Stewart's recipe) for work X-Mas party. Chocolate genoise, chocolate mousse filling, ganache, fondant holly and berries and meringue mushrooms. It turned out okay (esp the mushrooms) but was A LOT more involved and than I expected!

Small cake made for a bridal shower. Chocolate mud cake filled and frosted with SMBC. Flowers on top are gum paste chrysanthemums and fantasy flowers with a light pink accent. TFL

I made Italian Meringue ButterCream for the first time. I made these cupcakes so I could use the icing and have some people try them and give me their opinion. They were a hit at the salon. I will definitely be making more IMBC in the future.

Here are my first attempt at S'more Cupcakes which I made for my other half for Valentine's day. I think he got the rough end of the stick as he bought me loads of chocolate, a new 20in rolling pin, side scraper and fondant smoother! I'm a very lucky girl!

The wish was something with a happy girl... So I googled and found Lemon Meringue, a character from Strawberry Shortcake. I didn't knew it, but loved to make this cake. And the mom was really happy with the result. In style filled with a lemon filling ;)

I love doing this ribbon effect, especially with the Swiss meringue buttercream. Basic white cake with strawberry Swiss meringue filling and strawberries on top.

6th birthday, fairy cake. Bottom layer is chocolate with chocolate ganache filling, top two layers are white cake with strawberry filling, butter cream frosting, flowers and water are made with flavored gelatin, mushrooms are homemade meringue cookies sprinkled with cocoa powder, chocolate rocks.
