I was not happy with my icing job on this cake but the customer loved it. the martini glass on top matches the martini glass on the figurine that the cake was designed from.

NFSC, Toba G's glace'. These are my spin on Chocolate
Martini's, we call them Soave-tini's and we have them at
all our girlfriend functions, so I made them for a gal that is
moving.

This was a very fun cake. I made it using a 10 inch heart pan and cut off the rounded parts and used one of them for the base of the glass. Very easy to do. I used marshmallow for the glass stem and flavors toostie rolls for the olives. Used colored piping gel to make it look like drink. Matching cupcakes. Thanks for looking

Martini glass from Michael's, swiss meringue buttercream and fondant lime wedge. Not a whole lot of cake can fit in the glass, but this was just a practice. If I did it for a customer I would do coordinating cupcakes in plastic martini glasses.

18x24 sheet ... 1/2 lemon 1/2 white, torted and filled with sleeved strawberry filling. 4 friends celebrating their 40th birthday. One didn't want her name on the cake, so another friend snuck (sneaked?) back into the shop and I wrote "...and Brenda" on the side of the cake!! They wanted a Jamaican, beachy, margarita theme. This cake was going to Chicago for the party!

Birthday cake for a SATC fan. Made buildings out of melted candy wafers. Empire state building had dragee on the top of the tower. Plastic martini glass had pink water in it to look like a cosmo. Place where I get edible images made was out of ink so I attached photo to a piece of fondant and adhered it to the cake w/royal icing. Wrote things like "I couldn't help but wonder" and I LOVE MANOLO BLAHNIKS and LV around the bottom layer. Hope customer likes it!

This cake was made for my friend who loves martini's for her birthday. Since we couldn't have the "real thing" at work everyone settle for a cake shaped one instead. It is covered in fondant .

Top layer was fudge and the bottom layer was vanilla both with dulce de leche filling and chocolate fudge icing. The decorations were fondant. The birthday girl wanted her little black dog to be somewhere on the cake. It is beside the martini glass playing with the olives.

The cake is red velvet with cream cheese icing, covered in fondant. The martini glass is plastic with piping gel inside. I would have liked to make the glass out of sugar, but i was afraid the weight of it would have collapsed the cake. I hot glued 3 dowel rods to the bottom of the glass. The tassels on the cake are royal icing. This is my first pillow cake & hopefully not my last it was so much fun to make. Thanks for looking!!!!

This was for a customer who was having a big roast and toast for her husband's 50th birthday. He's a martini and olive lover so I did the martini glass instead of a champagne glass.

This was a chocolate cake for a friend's martini themed 40th birthday party. I found the giant martini glass at World Market and filled it with Godiva truffles. The cake is chocolate chocolate chip with raspberry filling with fudge icing and covered in Satin Ice dark chocolate fondant. It was for a guy and wanted the cake to be a little masculine. I did the bow with toothpicks and it was much easier for me than with candy melts. I had fun with this!

Received an order for a Martini cake. Colors were pink and brown. The
ladies' had t-shirts made with the saying, "The girls are out to mingle,
for Aly's last night single!" They wanted this on the cake as well. White
cake, buttercream icing, ganache drizzle on top, and fondant accents (minus
the skewer for the toothpick). TFL~

A friend of mine mentioned to me that she was trying to limit her intake of martinis to "one martini glass a day". I found this 12" high martini glass, I decided to do her "one martini glass a day" birthday celebration. I made a 6" fudge cake, with chocolate mousse, and iced with a dark, rich chocolate ganache for her special day. You can imagine her shock when the waiter at a local restaurant came in to present this cake to my friend. That was her "one martini a day glass" that she would long remember!

Inspired by the Pink Cake Box - made this for my daughter in law that just turned 21. Not as good as the original maker but I'm happy with it over all. Have to say I did cheat - the cake was 3 pound cakes put together because I was rushed for time buy hey it worked and plus they didn't need a bunch of cake.

The cooies are NFSC with fondant and RI details. A friend wanted a martini glass cookie, but I didn't have a cutter and didn't have time to make my own, so this is what I came up with instead.
