I made this for a friend who turned 33 - she said she wanted a Princess cake so this is what I came up with - Thanks CC for all the inspiration!! There was supposed to be a RI crown on top but no go - too much humidity to make it work. Oh well, she loved it anyways. WBH Chocolate Butter cake with IMBC and RI decorations with luster dust "paint". Thanks for looking!!

This little carriage is made from a 1+1/2 inch round cutter. cut out 2 circles with a 1/4 cut out of them and a strip and joined them together. cut out 4 smaller circles for the wheels and used a drinking straw for the spokes. then dusted with pink and purple luster dust and painted the dots on with edible markers , and bent some wire for the handle. Pictured with 2g luster so you can see the size. Made from gumpaste.
Thanks for looking.

6" & 12" heart shaped cakes decorated with buttercream icing. The sides are decorated with RI, the beads are buttercream. All silver items are painted with Luster Dust. I made the roses, leaves and baby's breath from gumpaste. Thanks to Sweetgurl for the inspiration from her gorgeous cake.

I made this cake for my DH's office. They are celebrating everyone's birthday for the month of August today. Cakes covered in BC with hand painted ( yellow luster) fondant swags/tassels, bow topper, and Army 'A'. Satin ribbon around bases. Black Satin Ice (my new best friend) used for draped banner down the front, and for writing 'Happy Birthday' on. I couldn't get the flash to work, but the lustered parts are very shimmery. Thanks for looking!

Cake iced in BC. Disco ball made of RCT and covered with little fondant squares. I colored the fondant silver, then cut out the squares and painted them with silver luster dust. Was not very happy with this cake at all. Oh well...chalk it up to learning experience.

This is the 2nd cake I made for my shower. If you look closely in the photo there is a printout of a cake on the table. When transporting the cake to the location the night before, my cake collapsed in the back of the van. At 10pm I had to come up with another game plan of how to make a new cake that took 2 days to make. I luckily had some dummies and we hid the sheet cakes that were for the guests. The original cake was white almond cake with raspberry and buttercream filling, then covered with fondant

Mountain Autumn Wedding Cupcake Tower. Chocolate Devil's food cake and cupcakes with Raspberry Filling then covered in rich Butter Cream. Cake is covered in MMF and dusted with luster dust. The leaves are made of MMF and dusted, as well.
I made the cupcake tower by stacking plates with bowls in between. Worked great!

This cake was for a 4 year old's princess birthday party. Her mom was going to put a tiara on top but I did not get a picture. It is a white cake with bavarian cream filling iced in BC with fondant accents. I painted the smallest stars with a mixture of antique pearl luster dust and lemon extract. I sprinkled edible glitter on top for some sparkle.

I used a DH banana mix, chocolate buttercream, and very purple MMF (thanks to FlowergirlMN), RI scrolls, painted with NuSilver Luster Dust & vodka. It was my first attempt at a carved cake, it was supposed to be more "angley" but I chickened out and went with a less dramatic angle, unfortunately, that made it just look a little lop sided. Thankfully, the birthday girl didn't even notice! I also thought the cake wasn't quite "enough", so I created a sugar globe topper...

My 5 yr. old son decorated this he used the melvira method to smooth the icing......all I did was the shell border! He cut his own fondant flowers glued on the gold dragees and airbrushed the flowers with super pearl dust/vanilla!! He made this for his school's cake auction and someone bought it for 20 dollars!!!

Chocolate torted cake with Chocolate buttercream filling. Iced with chocolate buttercream and covered with grey tinted Satin Ice fondant. "Colored" by mixing luster dusts and powdered icing colors with almond extract and painting the fondant. Used large tip's big end to make the scales. Hardened the fins by adding some gumtex powder to the Satin Ice. Credit to anyone who thinks this looks like their cake! I looked at several cakes for inspiration..one in particular but don't recall who gets kudos.

This was for a cake walk at my kids' school, medieval theme, inspired by a design in Colette's Cakes to Dream on. I used 12 different luster dusts and it was my first time really painting (and using lemon extract, which ROCKS), and I had a ball doing it! Thanks for looking!

A close up of some of the fondant cutout figures. I used marbelized fondant for the fish. Wish my camera angle would have been able to capture the toy boats too. This was the first time I've done these, I think they're cute and they were a lot of fun. Thanks for looking!

First off, shout out to "THE CAKE MAVEN" for her Patron Tequila cake; mine is not as good as hers, but I tried!!
This was done for a girl who loves Patron tequila; took (2) 9x13 cakes cut in half and stacked, then carved, covered in ButterCream Dream and MMF. The neck of the bottle was done with RKT and covered in fondant, and the top was done with RKT as well and painted with gold luster dust. All accents are MMF and the label is an edible image. RKT already made from the box, work GREAT!!

I am so please with this cake! Ice is Rock Candy. Beer bottles are real (cute little 7 oz. Coronas), placed in styrofoam cups that I cut to fit. I used a whole pot of Nu Silver luster dust on this. Barely had enough...whew! TFL!

This was the cake from H%$L!!! If it could go wrong, it did. First, I put the top layer of cake on and FORGOT to put the filling in! Then the top layer broke in 8 pieces when I put it back on...at 1 AM!!! Then I dropped the tag and the RI words shattered - had to remake that. I just want to get this cake delivered and be done with it!
