The Bumble bee says to the ladybug--"Will you BEE my LADY?"--in honor of valentines day I made this cake, and it will be my first photo on cake central. The bee and ladybug's body was made from the sports ball pan, their head from cupcakes, their features(eyes, antennas, nose, mouth, legs, wings & body decor) is made from fondant. The grass is coconut flakes with green food coloring added. The cake is a choc raspberry w/ choc rasp ganash.

Book cake (tangerine) covered with chocolate MMF with pina colada MMF accents. It had lots of flaws because I was just making it to experiment with some of my new cutters, but the people at church didn't notice any of them.

This is a bouquet I did for Valentine's Day. NFSC w/fondant. Some airbrushing, but mostly I used the Americolor food markers. (bears are airbrushed first.) MAN, I love the vibrant colors you get w/those markers! :)

This vintage valentine was inspired by my love of valentines of the past. The little girl "pouring her heart out" is made of fondant and is hand painted. The flowers and larger hearts are also made of fondant and the little hearts are candies. The cake is covered in fondant and is "sponged" with brown food coloring for a vintage look. Embellishments are a bronze luster dust. Thanks for looking!

A big first - first time using gumpaste, rice krispie treats and chocolate clay. Jewelry box and necklace are choc. clay. Bow, rose, card are gumpaste. Hot chocolate, cereal and dish are rice krispies. Wicker is choc. buttercream. Made for the contest, but I finished it a couple of hours too late.

THIS COOKIE WAS MADE FOR MY MOTHER IN LAW FROM MY TWO DAUGHTERS. THEY SAY WE LOVE YOU THIS MUCH TO EACH OTHER ON THE PHONE. I THOUGHT IT WAS THE PERFECT WAY TO WELCOME THEM TO OUR HOME A FEW WEEKS AGO. THEY LIVE IN FLA AND WERE VISITING US.

My take on the Wilton Visions of Love cake. I wanted to do this cake ever since I saw it . I changed the sizes because I don't like the flowers to stick out so much and changed the diamond pattern to make it look a bit more elegant. 14, 10 & 8x3 cakes with buttercream frosting. You can hardly see in the picture but the cakes were decorated with rows of dots from big to small and a silver dragee at the end of the row. The base was decorated with fondant, fondant press and silver dragees.

This is fast becoming my most requested flavor of cake. It's butter pecan with Wilton's Bettercream Topping, a layer of thinned caramel icing and pecans in the middle and the sides covered with pecans and drizzled with caramel icing. It's DELICIOUS!

The Wedding cake is fruit cake with fondant icing and royal icing piping. The Bride, Groom, Flowergirl and Page boy are all made of gumpaste. They have little flower baskets, which they used instead of carrying a posy. The Wedding was lovely! Thanks for taking a look!

I designed this cake for my son's school celebration today. I wanted to do something meaningful and found inspiration for this cake at this month's In Touch Magazine by Charles Stanley. They had a picture of a heart, thornes and I loved the colors. Thanks for looking and happy Easter.

This cupcake tower was for my friend's baby shower to celebrate the impending arrival of her baby girl she is adopting from China that she waited over 2 years for. Used buttercream icing in (no-taste) red, yellow on homemade chocolate squares and gold edible glitter, all traditionally lucky colours in Chinese culture. The symbols represent love, eternity and peace.

This cake is a design from Duff's website, a customer at work requested this. My boss and I worked on this project. He airbrushed the boughten gumpaste flowers and covered the cakes in fondant and then I added the ribbon, piped the oriental symbols in royal, painted them gold, and arranged the flowers.
