This John Deere farm scene was complete with a corn field, barn, animals, and of course.....a John Deere tractor. The path for the tractor was decorated with Fruity Pebbles.

I did this up quick last night for my hubby's b-day today. I felt kind of bad that I didn't put more into his cake and everyone else gets a special cake but he still loved it. Free hand work as you can see:)

This is a half and half full sheet cake with buttercream. The tractor was a race car pan that I picked up (just in case I need it) at the Salvation Army. I improvised and the little guy loved it and so did his Mom!

This is a picture of a picture, so sorry if you can't see it well! I cut a tractor shape from a sheet cake and then decorated it in the appropriate colors.

I decided to create a John Deere theme cake for my son. He loved it, despite the fact that on the way home from class my cake went flying when I stopped at a red light! I'm learning that MMF is a little more forgiving than BC.

2 8" layer White Chocolate Raspberry cake with BC White Chocolate Raspberry filling. This was made for my husband and father-in-law. This is my 4th FBCT and it cracked when I placed it, so I was sick. Thank the Lord after in crusted I was able to use Viva paper towel and smooth it out.

This was the first specialty cake I ever did...and I'm afraid it shows. I used the Wilton tractor pan, obviously, and BC frosting. Followed the directions exactly and added some edible easter grass around the edges in hopes that it would look like hay, lol.

This was carved from a 1/4 sheet cake. It is all buttercream icing. My tires went flat after a little while and the rest of the tractor started to sink a little, but you live and learn with supports. I'll try a different method next time. This was for a 1st birthday. The smash cake was a tractor tire.
