Shown are butter cookies that I cut out for a fall cookie club meeting. I used royal icing on the tops and swirled some food color on the top of them with a toothpick in the wet royal icing.

I integrated an edible transfer photo of the soon to be bride and groom. Cake was iced with white chocolate ganache. Since the weather was rainey, this cake took forever to set.

After 31 years of service a nearby community wanted to show the impact of a retiring fire chief's service to their city. The two cakes that I made helped convey his impact on that community.

I did these cookies for someone at my sisters job who was ill. They wanted me to do something like the smiley face cookies you can buy at Busken Bakery, but I didn't want her to just smile I wanted her to laugh so I came up with these. Cookies are No-Fail Sugar Cookies with MMF and Royal Icing.

This was my first basket weave, first time using royal icing and color flow. The royal icing is ok but the jury is still out on color flow. I had a b*#!h of a time getting it off my paper without breaking. Definitely need more practice with all of it but I had a good time.

The cake is iced in all buttercream, only the little drop flowers were royal icing. I had made butterflies and scrolls for a three dimensional look to this cake, they didn't dry in time to use them. I had to change my decorating plans at the last minute. I will know next time to do them more ahead of time. Bride loved the cake, her bouquet was made of the same types of flowers that are on the cake.

This cake is 10 inch double layer with 8 inch double layer right on top of that, separated with a small 6 inch double layer. I finished the top layers borders and the borders on the two heart cakes at delivery. Two 8 inch heart shape cakes for the side cakes. All iced in Buttercream with buttercream pink roses and royal icing drop flowers. The ribbon is silk, and the topper is also. Brides request. It went over very well. I was pleased, since this is only my third wedding cake in over 20 years.

This is my cake from my Wilton course II class - not so great on the rope border or basketweave, but considering it's my first time I figure it can only get better. Cake has royal icing flowers -can you tell I LOVE the colour purple! The flowers have "cake sparkles" on them.

I was just practicing some flavor combinations but ended up selling this cake anyway! Used some flowers left over from my Wilton class (great to have those on hand!) The cake is either chocolate w/ oreo cookie filling or vanilla w/ oreo cookie filling - don't like oreo in the vanilla so I ended up using French buttercream vanilla as the filling instead. Cake is 6 in. Oh yeah - iced in French buttercream - YUMMY but couldn't get smooth.....

I love this cake. Even though it is obviously done by a beginner, I just Love the swirls and the peachy petunias. This was my final cake for wilton course 3! I made the petunias out of royal icing, and I'm especially proud of the cake topper, made with petunias, tulle and styrofoam.

I was wanting to add fancy writing and make this more of an elegant Baby Shower cake.. Dang whipped icing did not want to act right today.. So I went with a cute cake.. The picture is the Invitation I said laminated, well more like I used a big wide clear tape to keep it from getting damaged from the icing.. I also piped butterflies on each corner of the cake..

I made this cake for my DH. It is DH Butter Cake with chocolate syprup icing (recipe from CC). I added the m&m's after my son decided to stick his finger in the cake (you can see where I tried to fix another finger print on the one side)!!
