I made these for a real estate friend. She had 50 real estate agents eating them and the phone has not stopped ringing for orders since! I have to thank smileyface for the decorating idea. NFSC and Royal Icing.

This is a white cake with strawberry filing and buttercream icing. Everything is cake and buttercream except the dog bowls and the bone. The dog house is an Igloo type house but I am not real happy with it. Thanks to everybody who posted dog pictures in the gallery.

I tried to make this look like the little house logo on my website. It's all fondant except for the RI door handle. I tied my box with a purple ribbon and added this to it. My customer picked up the cookies the day before the party for which she ordered the cookies, and said she ate the house cookie as soon as she got them home! That was why I put it there, as a little bonus for the customer, and I got bonus points for presentation!

Fun cake and not so hard to do. The kids were sugar cookies and so was the tire swing, with licorice rope. All buttercream.

This one was for the church too. Everyone wore their pajamas and from what I hear, they had a BLAST! The cake was part of the kick off of the night.

P.S The big red things are fuzzy slippers.

This was my version of a Wilton design in one of their books. This cake was really large, but I cheated a little bit and cut out the top squares from the middle ones and then used a cake board to support the top layers so we kind of had a hollow house! Windows and shutters are colorflow.

This was a first for me. A little boy didn't like cake but loved my cookies so what to do? I ended up using Antonia's Royal icing with the least amount of water as the 'mortar' and set up the present boxes like you would a gingerbread house I guess (I've never done one myself) Worked out great and everyone got a whole cookie!

I got adventureous this year and decided to replicate Blue's house from the show. The big cake is just a 9x13. The house is made of a 9" square cake that was quartered. I only used 3 of the quarters though (4 seemed too high). For the roof I made a cake in a loaf pan and then trimmed it to a triangle. Then iced in appropriate color and style after assembling. The tree was made on waxed paper using the wilton candy melts. And the grass was using the grass tip.

Non-traditional Happy Birthday, Jesus cake! My husband and I decorated with the candies and sprinkles. I love Gingerbread houses so this was fun and easy to do!! The kids were already in bed! :-)

Cheesecake with American buttercream and chocolate building with lighted sign. This is the place in Dawson City, Yukon where the B&G met during a snow machine event. The sign is my favorite part, but I knew a photo would never do it justice. It is 2 discs of white chocolate sandwiching all the wires with the flashing lights sticking out the front and an EI of the logo of the place. The wires go down into the house and there is a hole in the back to access the controller.

I made this, by special request, for a friend's birthday. I got the idea from a picture of a lady's cake on this site. It is the Lord of the Rings Hobbit house. I made a half sphere cake and put that on top of a sheet cake and covered it w/BC. The windows, doors, and chimney are fondant. The chimney has a silver candle in it. The flower pot is fondant w/a royal icing flower and Oreo dirt. I luster dusted the door handle and hinge. I brushed the "stones" w/powdered sugar to make them less shiney.

This one's a "gingerbread" flavored cake. It's stacked and carved to the shape of a house, then iced in light brown colored buttercream and then decorated in different colors. I used green colored melting chocolated and confetti sprinkles for the trees and piped white buttercream icing around the roof for the "ice cicles"

My first time making a cookie bouquet - need to improve arranging them, but I thought they all turned out very cute - if only you could see them! Wish I would have taken pics of each cookie, but there is always next time!

This is a (house) yellow cake, and (yard) chocolate cake with bc icing and some fondant accents. Wilton stand up house pan and a square cake for the yard. White chocolate dipped pretzel fence. Thanks for looking......oh, this was made for a house warming party for a friend of a friend who just bought her first home that kinda looks like this. When she moved in there was a huge white barrel in the back of the house full of nasty compost stuff, so I molded one (as a joke) and filled it with scraps of stuf

This is white cake with cookies and cream filling. Covered in fondant, gumpaste leaves and wood planks, fondant door and windows, modeling chocolate tree trunk and tire swing. The tire swing was hung up with a plastic string. The grass was fondant and I used scissors to make the blades of grass.

This is my first cake ever. I'm brand new to this site and to this hobby. It was a surprise party for my husband who had just finished Fire Academy. I made the buildings out of cardboard and printing out pictures of textures online (used photo shop to tile), I purchased the fire truck/men online, and used crumbled cookies for the road and a grass tip for the green. The peppers and cactus behind are because it was on May 5th so it was a surprise cinco de mayo party as well. Hope you like it!
