The "slice-it" table from our annual dessert party last night. Clockwise from lower left:
Snickers Cheesecake, Coconut-Cream Fudge Cake (fondant covered with royal piped snowflakes), Black-Bottom Mint Cheesecake, Orange-Cranberry Bundt Cake, Mocha Pecan Torte, Apple Pie, 4-Layer Carrot Cake, and Cranberry-Cherry Pie. Scattered around the house were 23 different kinds of cookies. It was fun, but boy, am I tired!

Here's another ornament I did this week. I'm still working on getting my curlies to be completely round/S-shaped, but I kind of like the Z-shape I got on some of these, too. Next project...better ornament hangers.

Just something I threw together yesterday morning before our Christmas party.

Yellow cake with chocolate mousse filling, pastry pride whipped topping & vanilla butter cream leaves & berries. I was shocked that the green & red didn't bleed into the pastry pride.

I made this up pretty fast for a holiday gathering. Decorated in buttercream with gumpaste bow and royal icing pine cones. I actually wasnt planning to put the pine cones on, but I broke the bow a bit and I needed to cover it up.

NFSC w/ RI. First time to make my own RI and the consistancy of each color was a bit different. The black was very runny after sitting the longest in the bag. I had to use a toothpick instead of a #1 tip. A long process that I'm sure I will get better at with time and practice! These are just a few of the five dozen cookies. Thanks for looking!
