A hockey cake to go with my hockey cookies, for an 8 year olds birthday. I didn't have the hockey cake pan, so it was a free hand from a picture.

Been wanting to do a duffle bag since seeing the YouTube post on it. All in fondant, Rice Krispie baseball and hockey puck. Lots of fun to do - honestly the bag was easier than the soccer ball and the lines on the baseball - I was tired and "done" by the time I did the baseball - it could have been a bit neater, but it was for my godson, not for a "paying" customer LOL! So I did slack off a bit. Still happy with it. Everyone got a kick out of the dirty sock and towel :D

This was a birthday cake for a little boy who is a BIG hockey fan.... All his little friends wore their Sabres jerseys to the party and they all fought over who would get to eat the buffalo on the cake!! Sooo cute!
Anyway, this is just a vanilla buttercream design with an FBCT logo... Had some issues with my writing on this cake, the humidity was messing with my icing terribly!! But all in all, I was proud of how well this turned out and the little boys REALLY loved it, which is what matters most!!

8 inch square covered with grass tip. Ball pan, mini ball pan, and 4 inch round for soccer, baseball, and hockey puck, Covered with buttercream. I know the stiching on the baseball is not correct, but i was looking at pictures on CC as I was decorating it and CC decided to shut down for maitenance just as I was getting to the baseball!! :)

This is an 8" cake with BC icing. The top is a piece of fondant cut to size that I freehanded the detroit redwing logo on. Drawing on fondant was so much easier than trying to pipe it on. I then put large dots around the outside for the border. I flattend out the dots so that they would look like hockey pucks.

It was my grandson's birthday and I had to come up with an idea for a cake. Since he loves hockey I figured the crossed sticks was a good idea.

This was a challenge for me. I printed off the Islanders logo and then enlarged it to the size I needed, then used it to make templets. It went surprisingly well. My grandson was very surprised with this cake as were the other guests.

This was done for an adult hockey team at the end of the season. They wanted me to come up with something funny. It's actually a comic I found; I can't take credit for making it up!
