This is just the topper that I made for a very whimsical wedding cake. I'll post the actual cake in another category. This was a lot of fun to make. The bride and groom are fondant (with the exception of the bride's veil, which is gumpaste) there are also a few details that are RI. The motorcycle is a model that I ordered online.

This was easier than I thought it would be. I started by making a chocolate sheet cake and I covered it with butter cream frosting. I enlarged a photo of the Harley Davidson Emblem on a copier and I traced the picture onto the cake. I used a star tip to fill in the letters.

This was designed by the bride and groom... every thing to their specifications.. they provided us color pictures of their tattoos and where they wanted them on the cake, the colors etc. We were really nervous making it, but they LOVED IT! Covered in fondant... the tattoos were drawn on edible images and cut out, then turned over and iced in white BC very carefully and quickly, then frozen. While frozen they are easier to handle, and a few dots of DC helps them stick... colors won't bleed.

Made this using several different ideas from CC. Harley guy's birthday. White cake covered with fondant. The silver accents are actual Harley scrapbooking items from a craft store.

I made this for a woman who was surprising her husband on his 40th birthday. Dark Chocolate fudge cake w/choc. filling. An 11x15 pan carved to Harley logo. Thanks, Darra for the color flow flames idea! I never thought I would ever do that outside of the Wilton class I took!

This cake was alot of fun to create! The body of the cake is chocolate with whipped raspberry filing and the wheels are rice krispies treat. The whole cake is covered in MMF. Thanks for looking.

my co-worker loves harley so i thought this would be cute for her birthday - fairly simple except the letters. i printed the logo, cut out letters and then sort of traced/cut them out of fondant. i gave up after the orange letters and piped the white free-hand in bc. black mmf was tricky to get the right colour but it came out okay.

This was not a good tasting cake... My first attempt at making a diabetic cake with splenda... bleh
The whole thing was a disaster... the icing melted off and made it look terrible by the time it was time to cut. It didn't look to bad before the melting though.

This is an 8" round, 2-layer cake. I did a FBCT for the logo. I had so much trouble with it and had to fix it b/c it was all messed up. It came out okay in the end and I was super excited. For the trim, I tried something new. I took the idea of a rosette and extended. I like how it came out.

this is a replica of the customers own sportster fuel tank. its done all in mmf, the scallops were a bit of a trick to get on it, but i like the way they turned out... except for the cap which is gumpaste. oh and the cake was lemon creamsicle, which i highly recomend.

This cake was made for a good friend who Lives to Ride & Rides to Live! It saddens me that the picture does the cake no justice PLUS I should have left the gal's face expressionless. I saved that area for last 'cuz I knew I had no talent there and boy did I blow it!! Nonetheless, the guys loved it!!

Yellow and chocolate cupcakes with marshmallow fluff buttercream. Chocolate transfers and fondant dog bone.

These cupcakes were delivered to a family business for the father's 64th birthday. He is a huge Harley fan. His one son has a dog named Chewy who he brings into the office with him. The woman who ordered these asked if Chewy could have his own cupcake. No chocolate for Chewy!

Harley cake for a 70th birthday. Guys never get tired of their Harleys... This was covered in cream cheese icing, but it looked so lumpy and awful, I covered it in fondant. It's carrot cake with cream cheese icing.

Yep, that's what they wanted:) This 12x16x2 sheet is iced in b'uttercream. Marilyn, the Harley and a strip of roses are all frosting sheets. Add a little airbrushing and borders and your done:)

I did this one for my husband who just bought a new Harley. He was offshore for his birthday so he got the cake in February instead of August! Oops! Also, I got the idea for the decorating from someone else's cake here on CakeCentral - I just don't remember who it was.

I made this for a friend who turned 45. We are in a motorcycle club and his roadname is "windshield". He got this name because my husband razzed him about having a windshield on his motorcycle, so this is the cake he got!

This is a two layer chocolate with bavarian cream filling. The logo is carved out of the top layer and airbrushed with piping and hand cut fondant letter. I don't know if you can tell from this picture, but the trim on the base of the cake is chocolate fondant that I rolled out and then covered with a piece of crumpled parchment, then rolled again. It really gave it a leather look. Then I hand painted it black to give it the biker feel.
