Done for a casual BBQ in honor of my Dad's 60th bday. I didn't even take time to put it on a cake board because it was so informal! LOL! The buns are yellow cake covered in fondant, which gave me a few problems due to the heat. The hamburger is a brownie. Fondant cheese, tomato, pickles, and lettuce. Buttercream ketchup, mustard, mayo, and sesame seeds. Was a HUGE hit...my Dad didn't even want to cut it. Thanks for all the tips I got here!

Mini hamburger cookies/sliders. Vanilla wafers with brownie burger and BC icing. Brushed cookies with karo, sprinkled with sesame seeds. Formed chewy brownies into patties, dipped in green and white coconut. Added Cheese/mustard with yellow bc icing and ketchup with red. Very Tasty. Easy for even kids to do. Everyone at the picnic loved them - they thought they were sliders. A few wouldn't eat it but brought them home. Don't get that. ;o)

I think this kind of cake is a rite of passage for many designers. I finally had the perfect opportunity to do it for my annual family reunion. It turned out better than what I anticipated as it's only the third time I use my airbrush machine. All details made of fondant, buns, tomatos and fries were airbrushed. Buns were 8", burger was carved 9" and covered in chocolate fondant. Ketchup and Mustard dispenser are not edible :-) Just added to the pic

Cake buns, fondant lettuce, tomato, and cheese. Rice krispies for bun seeds. Cookies for fries cut with a carrot cutter. Burger is cocoa rice krispie treats. This was very fun to do. Thank you Traceyjade for the fry hint. I think it worked great.

I made these mini hamburgers for a BBQ this weekend. They are vanilla cupcakes cut in half, brownie hamburgers and IMBC for lettuce, tomato, cheese and mayo. I am quite proud of myself for making the cheese out of buttercream since my hubby hates fondant! Thanks to PieceOfCake61804 for the wonderful inspiration!

This cake was for my sister, loves Scooby Doo. Body was hand cut and scuptured. Covered with crusting buttercream. Head is rice krispie. Details were added in fondant and buttercream. The buttercream started sliding and moving at the very end :( I had surgery a few days before I did this cake and I think that effected the way the cake turned out.

This was a HUGE cheeseburger in paradise. There were 3 14" rounds involved in this! All fondant. The sand was Nilla wafers crushed up. I used PVC pipe attached to a flange on the board to create the palm trees.

I made this cake for a church pool party that was canceled because of rain. I stuck it in the freezer until I could decide what to do with all that cake! Fortunately, my daughter had a pool party to go to 2 days later. We pulled it out to thaw, and the color ran down the sides with the condensation. Everyone liked it, though. All BC with fondant accents. "Ice cubes" are clear gelatin.

This was my first try at a hamburger cake. So easy and so fun! My daughter did the watermelon and deviled eggs. The eggs are a chewy granola bar shaped into an egg shape. Cakes are white, yellow, and chocolate for the hamburger patty. Iced in BC with fondant condiments. Watermelon is covered in fondant.

My daughter's birthday and my neighborhood picnic (which I organized this year) happened to fall on the same day, so I 'killed two birds with one stone' (horrible expression! lol). Here's what I came up with: two 12" chocolate fudge cakes and one 12" yellow cake - all from scratch. The 'lettuce' is almond paste. Everything else is buttercream. Thanks for looking!

Life size to feed 180, "grilled" sugar cookies. I bought a stool from a Boscov's going out of business that was liquidating all its furniture and spray painted it silver. Ash tray is a paper plate covered in aluminum foil, aluminum foil handles. I had so much fun with this cake!

It's a Krabby Patty! Actually, it looks a lot like a hamburger, but I wanted it to have a cartoon-ish feel. I used marshmallow fondant on everything except for the patty, which is covered in chocolate buttercream. If I were to make the cake again, I would make Spongebob figures to be on top.

I did this for 7yr old twins. It was a big hit with the kids (and the adults). It was fun. I did the hamburger from all samples here on CC and the fries I made from cookies. (Actually a friend baked the cookies for me).

This cake was created by my MIL with only a basic piping set, she mixed the colors herself. This is the third fabulous cake she's created for his birtdays.

Here's a Scooby Doo cake I did for my friend's son. The hamburger was all cake with fondant accents, "scooby snacks" were made out of tinted white chocolate and Scooby was made out of royal icing. Very fun cake to do! :)

This is my take on a burger and fry cake. Burger is 3 6" cakes. Fry's are a cut up yellow 6" cake. Bun is airbrushed. Burger is covered with chocolate fondant. Tomatoe, letus, pickle are all made of fondant. This was made for a 16th birthday party.
