This is a sculpted pumpkin I did in class today. I took it with Alimonkey. Talk about a GREAT class. Anyway, hers is much cuter than mine, but I learned a ton. I'm definitely going to have to practice my fondant. The color is airbrush.

This is my modified version of this cake from the Wilton magazine, it was 3 layers, the top and bottom were chocolate, and the middle was a white cake, tinted orange, and it all had orange buttercream icing. The cookies were made along with the theme of the party, I ran out of time and didn't get to draw my eyes and fangs on the bats and the face on the cats. But the little boy was happy with his cake, and the guest really enjoyed it too. This one took about 1 full day to do with the cookies.

Witch (made using Wilton's wonder mold) stooped over a swirling cauldron. Cauldron made from two bowl shaped cakes. Brew is made of a base of marblized green and white royal icing topped with clear piping gel. Candy bones are submerged and floated on top of brew. Sugar cone witches hat airbrushed black and trimed in royal icing. Flames made with a striped piping bag technique then dusted with orange and red luster dusts. Witch is flanked by marshmallow pumkins and ghosts.

The Wilton "Haunted Pumpkin" pan was the inspiration for this sheet cake covered in buttercream frosting. I couldnt find the pan so I decided to just draw it on the cake.

This was my first attempt that using antonia74's methods. I put a darker shade on and I hated it, so I had to go back over with the lighter one and it ended up with 3 layers of icing. LOL. In the end, it's not too bad, but I need more practice.

Red Velvet cake with buttercream icing. Ears and nose are made from scrap cake and iced in buttercream. Eyes are chocolate candy. Blood is instant cheesecake pudding tinted with red and maroon coloring. I used an idea found in a Wilton Yearbook and re-worked it. The cake was made in the wilton sportsball mold.
