This is a groom's cake that I made. It is a 8" chocolate cake sitting on top of a 12" white cake that is iced in BC and drizzled with chocolate. There are chocolate covered strawberries on top and around the cake. The chocolate drizzle I made from chocolate chips melted with a little shortening.

We did this cupcake tower instead of the groom's cake with 1/2 vanilla and 1/2 chocolate cupcakes, with coordinating chocolate or vanilla BC icing. Each is decorated with a chocolate heart made from candy melts. This was a HIT, and I'm thrilled with the outcome! Thanks to Helen for the instructions for the blocks!

This is a strawberry cake with fresh strawberry and cream cheese filling and cream cheese icing. It was delicious!! This photo is their dog Holly and I decided to just do a little whimsical design on the cake. It is not perfect but it was completely devoured including all of the strawberries. I was very happy that it was so well received.

This cake is chocolate cake with homemade chocolate buttercream, and topped with chocolate covered strawberries. I used Ghiradelli milk chocolate and Ghiradelli white chocolate. I dipped some of them in shredded coconut, sliced almonds, and mini chocolate morsels. I tied a chocolate satin ribbon around the center.

This one really isn't the best cake I've done by far. I learned a lot from it of what I won't do next time. They were happy with it though. The flag, of course, is hand painted fondant and the rest is chocolate buttercream.

This is my attempt at a deer's head...it was for my son's groom's cake last weekend. It was so frustrating...my son was even over here working on it the day before his wedding! He said it was pretty bad he had to work on his own cake for his wedding! My thanks go out to all the CC people that sent me instructions or talked my through this on the phone...even though it wasn't nearly as good as all of theirs...THANK YOU ALL! My husband nicknamed this "Bullwinkle"!

I made this cake for a grooms cake but it would be perfect for a curling event. It is covered in mmf and all the rocks and brooms are made with mmf as well. Would have spent more time making the sides even but it was 2 in the morning and still had to finish the wedding cake first thing in the morning. All in all I was happy with the way things turned out. And nobody even noticed they all loved it.

Devils Food cake with Peanut Butter filling, chocolate BC, and chocolate drizzle. Topped off with broken up peanut butter cups, broken edge up to see, and smell the peanut butter. The bride ordered this as a surprise for her groom and for her Dad - they both love peanut butter cups. It was a big hit!

I made this chocolate/mocha N.Y. Skyline cake as my son's grooms cake for his wedding. Decorated in fondant with solid White Chocolate Statue of Liberty and Empire State Bldg. There are twist lights embedded in the base that the statue and bldg. sit on.

Well, it is not one of my favorites but I guess it is ok. The cake is lemon with creamcheese frosting. The fish is buttercream and I had a hard time painting it. I don't like my letters either. I couldn't decide if I needed a border on to or not so I opted not too because I thought it would be too much. Oh well, I hope they like it.
