This is the cake I did for my husband. I tried to get him to let me do something that would show his personality, or a hobby, but he kept insisting he just wanted a yellow cake with chocolate icing. Well, I couldn't have that, so I had to embelish just a little. The leaves and scrolls are chocolate, and were so much fun to make. I'm not good with cornelli lace yet, so I pretty much just squiggled some lines on top. My cousin added some baby's breath for a little extra decoration. hehe

This cake should be in the disasters file! Made of mmf, but would not stick together when I tried to roll it all out together, cake wanted to fall apart, etc...
The two rings on the cake are real rings made from ammo.

This was a fun cake. My husbands cousin was getting married and his wife-to-be called and asked me to make him a red velvet rattlesnake cake as his grooms cake. He was so surprised!! It was great fun, but definately a lot of work... I need to invest in an airbrush.....

This is a tuxedo cake that i did for my SIL's monthly departmental
birthday at her job; this month 3 gentlemen were celebrating their birthday.
This can also serve as a Groom's Cake. It is devil's food cake with
raspberry cream filling and covered in Satin Ice fondant.

Tada! My first Groom's Cake! It's for my soon-to-be stepfather (tomorrow is the wedding). He loves peanut butter and of course his favorite candy bar is Reese's, so I offered to do his cake as a gift. It's a chocolate & peanut butter marbled cake with chocolate BC frosting, peanut butter filling, PB cups, and pirouette wafers! The sides of the cake were supposed to have chocolate drizzles, but I was a tad heavy-handed so the cake ended up getting an extra chocolate 'glaze' over the BC on the sides instead!

This is my version of the cakes done by Boween. My first attempt at. Bride was a WASC cake with raspberry mousse filling , both from CC recipes and I had a crusting (though I am not sure it did), cream cheese frosting. It took forever to just crumb coat this. This was all buttercream. The Groom was a coconut cream cheese version of the WASC cake, with a pinapple filling. The frosting was my first try at a cooked buttercream. DElicious, easy to spread. Room temp for 6 hours. Fondant lapel, buttons, bow

I was asked to make a cake for a guy that loves calf roping. Thanks to a little inspiration from another CC member, I switched the style up a little bit and came up wit this. Bottom layer is french vanilla, top is chocolate. Chocolate buttercream with royal icing cowboys and calf. I was so excited that my transfer came off in one piece. I was so scared that it would break that I made an extra just in case. Now I have an extra!!! Anyhow, thanks for looking!!!

it is a camo guitar. I did the pattern myself and the strings are made with spaggetti and just painted them with editable paint. It was not all that hard to do.
